The Blackbird — Restaurant in Vieux Fort

Overall poor experience at this restaurant which is sad because it is one of the few options in the south of the island. Within a year , Blackbird has increased the price of food and failed to improve their service and atmosphere.

There is a serious fly and mosquito issue which is not being addressed by the business. How are customers expected to have a good experience when they’re constantly sitting chasing flies?!

There are no ceiling fans, so on hot days, you now have to deal with the heat and the flies.

The restaurant is always out of several drink/food menu items and long wait times.

The only good thing about the business are the staff who are very pleasant. Kerwin & Ninda Provided excellent service.

With a prime location, there is so much potential for growth but this business does not care about providing a poor...

We had a couple hours to kill before our flight from the airport. The restaurant is literally next door and was convenient. Food was very good although portion sizes were very small but I think appropriate for the price. I had the seafood lovers plate that came with a few pieces of shrimp, a tiny piece of The Catch of the Day which was blue marlin and a couple small pieces of squid. It did not include any side dishes so be sure to order something else. We were a large group of eight and it took a while for our food to come out, and we had to hurry to get to the airport in time. I would definitely stop again if I was in St Lucia and had time before a flight or wanted something to eat...

The food was awful, worst dining experience ever. They run out of everything, the meals were served cold ,presentation was disgusting, I will not recommend this place,my partner , his brother and our friends got sick at the restaurant, they got food poisoning,stomach pain,vomiting worst chicken covered with flour burger, dry like straw’s and cardboard, over price ,poor quality.
