This is not an indian restaurant. Just name is indian but the food is more to the liking of Saudis. Not spicy and delicious like indian food.i agree it's a fine dining restaurant but doesn't mean that you can compromise on indian taste.Vineet Bhatia, the globe-trotting super chef who owns Michelin-starred restaurants in London and Geneva is not good in maintaining this restaurant just a simple chicken tandoori they could not cook it right. The chicken was dry and mushy and only taste I got was of yogurt . And loaded with red food colour. I have had "innovatively rethought Indian classics"but this restaurant even failed in dessert a simple phirni was rubbish. So tasteless .why do we order dessert to eat something sweet but it was not sweet as if we had diabetes , and on top loaded with almond flakes.did not like it a bit.what I really liked was chicken masala and butter naan.i had ordered chicken kulcha which was salty and burnt so had to give back and asked them to replace it.by just keeping sky high price the restaurant wont become fine dining indian restaurant please maintain food quality and taste.it should not be just visually appealing but SHOULD TASTE GOOD . Staff there were not so friendly and we had to call so many time before they responded to us.even two of the waiters were openly fighting not bothered if customers were seeing them or not. Ambience is ok very dark only a small table light. Setting is ok .felt a bit depressing...

One of my favourite restaurants in khobar by not only a Michelin star chef but also a friend Vineet. I went there yesterday for lunch and had the same wonderful experience as before, last time I had the pleasure of eating there before yesterday was 2 years ago,the quality is superb and the cook on the chicken we ordered was beautiful. I only take my closest or most honorable friends and acquaintances to this gem. My friend was blown away by the simple yet incredible flavour of the food we ordered which was murgh tamatari ,coconut rice and tandoori chooza. The chicken dishes were lovely the rice was delectable and since I've been a regular customer in the past and the staff is wonderful, they treated us to complimentary vege rolls in the start of our meal and were very friendly and attentive to us. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for gourmet prides of Indian Street food done gorgeously and served so delicately. Please keep it up as I'm very satisfied with the fact the quality has only improved since I...

We went there for a fine dining experience and that's what we got

Food rating :- We asked the waiter to suggest dishes and he suggested below

Kadai Paneer - 3/5 Dum Aloo - 4.5/5 Gobhi Manchurian - 4/5 Chilli Garlic Naan - 5/5 Tandoori Roti - 5/5 Complimentary Veg Spring Roll - 10/5

Clearly it was the best veg spring roll I have had till date, I wish I could have had more but we already ordered Gobhi Manchurian

The restaurant was pretty empty for Saturday night so was a little disappointing Ambience - 9/10 (1 point for empty restaurant)

I requested for spicy food, and still it was not spicy

Main issue was with Kadai Paneer, either they used Tofu instead of Paneer or the Paneer was too old - it was very hard for paneer

Service was 10/10

Sorry guys I am vegetarian so I can't review...

This Indian restaurant is inside the Movenpick hotel. The decor is very nice and the service is EXCELLENT. The food however is a mixed bag. Some are excellent and others are mediocre. My favourite was the Gobi Manchurian. The beiryani, and dal especially the black dal(dal mahrani )was very good. Lentil soup and aloo chat was good. The Nawabi kaas (mixed tandoor grill) was mediocre and I could not complete my dish. Considering the price of about $80 per person for a full meal I expected more. It is unlikely that I will go again.

I really liked the atmosphere it definitely stands out with its beautiful Indian themed decor, especially here in Khobar. However, I was a bit disappointed with the food. Even though it’s an Indian restaurant, some of the dishes were missing that rich, authentic Indian flavor. Honestly, I’ve been to simpler places with less impressive decor but much stronger and more flavorful Indian food. So while the vibe was great, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations😿
