Al Nakheel Restaurant — Restaurant in Makkah Region

My wife and I visited Al Nakheel Restaurant yesterday, and overall, it was an enjoyable experience. The restaurant is situated along the Jeddah Corniche, offering a lovely setting with an open-air seating area that creates a calm and pleasant atmosphere. However, the outdoor furnishings and general setup are rather dated and would benefit from refurbishment.

On a positive note, the staff were extremely polite and attentive, which significantly enhanced our visit. The food was of good quality and met our expectations, making it a place I would recommend to a friend seeking a relaxing meal by the sea.

Nakheel has been always a sure favourite for good food coupled with good ambience since over the past 30 years. Especially if you want to take guests or 1st timers visiting jeddah. What is really nice is when you enter and how it really takes you back in time. Everything ordered on the menu was really good. Service was quick as there was no crowd on a weekday evening. Prices are definitely high end, for example a plate of 5 pieces of falafel is 27 riyals. One thing disappointing was that we were told by the cashier that outdoor seating requires ordering sheesha. Which we didnt want. However when we asked for our sheesha the waiter said it was not a requirement saying that the cashier was not truthful. An upscale and really good place near corniche area, staff were excellent, customer service was also good, usually the restaurant of this place is full so you have to make reservation ahead of time which I did too.

They arabian and some western food available too. We ordered almost every kind of arabic food, as we were a good number of people there. In appetizers we took hummus, cheese, sambusa, manto and farmuza platter, all were very good in taste, there cheese (jubna muntakhab) was really good and recommended.
