I have visited Altharaa Fish Restaurant on multiple occasions, and overall, my experiences have been quite positive. However, there have been a few noteworthy aspects that I would like to highlight.

During my lunch visit on 25/1/2024, I decided to take advantage of their special offer priced at SR 89. However, I was caught off guard when I discovered that the final bill amounted to SR 98 due to the inclusion of a 15% tax. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to clearly communicate the inclusive tax amount to avoid any confusion or surprises for customers. It is important to note that the food itself was great, but the pricing issue left a slightly bitter taste.

On my visit on 8/2/2023, I had a wonderful dining experience. I ordered the grilled Salmon with rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The dish was perfectly prepared, and the flavors were delightful. To conclude the meal, I indulged in the Marsha dessert, which was a perfect sweet ending to the dining experience.

Moreover, I found the staff and waiters at Altharaa Fish Restaurant to be friendly, helpful, and attentive. They were always ready to assist and answer any questions. The positive and accommodating demeanor of the staff added to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.

However, there was a particular incident during my visit in November 2023 that slightly dampened my experience. I specifically requested non-spicy food, but unfortunately, the dishes served to me were spicy. I had to reject them. On the bright side, the staff at Altharaa Fish Restaurant were quick to respond and rectify the situation. They replaced the spicy dishes with non-spicy alternatives at no additional cost, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction.

In summary, Altharaa Fish Restaurant offers delicious seafood dishes and has a friendly and attentive staff. While there have been some minor issues such as the unclear pricing and the oversight with the spiciness of the food, the restaurant's willingness to address these concerns and provide satisfactory resolutions speaks to their dedication to customer service. During our road trip across the western region, visiting Jeddah, Taif, and AlHada from Riyadh, we had the pleasure of dining at an exceptional seafood restaurant in Jeddah.

We stopped by for dinner after a long day of exploring, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip!

We started with their seafood creamy soup, which was rich, comforting, and full of flavor—perfect for setting the tone of the meal.

They brought us freshly baked bread and a delicious baba-ganoush salad, which were both amazing and complemented everything else we ordered.

For the main course, we shared a large Shoor fish fried on oil. It was cooked to perfection, with a crispy golden crust and tender, juicy meat inside. The portion was generous and more than enough for two people. As an appetizer, we couldn’t resist trying their sayadiya rice topped with fried shrimp, and it was a fantastic choice—flavorful, fragrant, and cooked just right.

The quality of the food was outstanding, but what made the experience even better was the service. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening.

Their hospitality truly stood out and made us feel so welcome.

Lovely sea food restaurant with great selection in their menu. I loved how they took care of the interior design inside the restaurant. I tried their Tagens only this time. Fish with Hummor and shrimps with Bachamel Tagens. Both r good but but both lack some salt to enhance the flavor. Another bad thing I notice their Indian waiters stealing from the restaurant. I ordered everything and when i asked for the receipt he didnt add the large bottle of water and he asked to pay for it after i left the table in front of the rest of the customers like i was a thief or something. When i asked him to print another receipt for it he told me he can not and i need to pay for it without receipt, after that I asked him to pay by my visa card and he refuse he asked me to pay for it in CASH 💵.
