Our second time since it was once a foodtruck and it’s still good, but quite pricey.
I kinda forgot the name of the food we ordered last night, but here’s what I could remember :
Chicken Birria Quesadillas (10/10) it was so good, it has special sides coming with it it’s like broth. And it is very suitable for kids, my kid loved it a lot Shrimp Alambre (9/10) very good, it wasnt fishy at all. And the grilled paprika makes the flavour popped. Beef Birria with Rice (10/10) we were told that it takes long hours for the beef to cook. But with rice, there’s no special broth coming with it, like tacos or quesadillas. The rice itself is so special and so tasty. Beef Birria Flautas (1000/10). Man this is the best on our table last night. So gooddd. Chicken Pastor (4/10). Unfortunately this one is kinda failed to me. It has a strong fishy smell which I can never tolerate. The taste was so so, but it’s coming with grilled pineapple which helps a bit French fries (6/10) for the kids. It was ok. Regular frozen french fries. Pancho Sauce (7/10) I guess? I forgot the name. But they said they mix 4 types of chillies. And it was good but 9 riyals is too expensive for just a sauce.
Overall it was good, but pricey. I have few comments for the restaurant. The table is too small for big groups. Some people will be ok if they’re 2 or 3 people. But for big groups, you need to provide bigger table. The music. It is sooo annoying and noisy. There’s some good latino music, but your music is not enjoyable at all.
Excuse my honesty. We had...
Read moreMe and my wife, its our first time to visit Jeddah Box Park and we decided to eat at Ed's Tacos bacause we love mexican food.
Here is my review on our orders;
Beef Tacos (8/10) - taste is good, it could have been better if the beef is in bits not shreded. I felt like eating corned beef in taco shells :D
Chicken Tacos (9/10) - taste is good but Im just wanting more mexican flavors to it
Chicken Quesadilla (10/10) - for me its perfect
Beef Birria Fries (6/10) - the fries is very cold, and the sauce on top taste like a little bit sour than it should be
Guacamole, Sour Cream Souce (6/10) - very bland taste, it should have been seasoned more
My overall rating is 8/10.
The ambiance in the upstairs dining area is affect the food experience. It feels like eating in a very enclosed place.
The music is good.
We wanted to dine in front of the store but sadly the was no more vacancies.
The staff are very helpful. Especially the one who took our order. I forgot to ask his name but he was wearing a white hoodie jacket if I remember it correctly. He was very polite, professional and have a very good knowledge about the products on the menu.
It could have been better if we were offered pico de gallo the time that I ordered. I was looking for it but the staff said that you only put this on selected items.
I was not able to take photos because we just ate directly. my wife was also very hungry :D
I would like to try the burritos, rice meals and the jalapeno sides. We loved this restaurant and we will...
