Hello, fellow Malaysians who miss Malaysian food while visiting the holy city of Makkah (and others who just want to taste Malaysian food while in Mekkah). This is NOT Malaysian food. I was DISSAPPOINTED and OFFENDED that they dubbed the food they make Malaysian.
We had the 'Daging Dendeng' here, which should change its name to 'Spicy Tree Bark'. And we also had the Satay Ayam, which was okay, I guess. The staff were subpar, none were Malaysian (As far as I could tell). Most of the items on the menu were not available. It was pricey, a waste of money and a waste of our lovely evening in Mekkah.
Do NOT come here if you want Malaysian food. You have been warned.

Read moreAs someone who grew up in Malaysia, I can testify that this is the best restaurant for Malaysian, Thai and Indonesian food in Makkah. The taste is authentic, the ambience is cosy and the price is the best for its quality.
I recommend the Steam fish, and the sweet&sour fish, tomyam, prawns tempura, and satay. The portions are big, and all options are very flavorful.
It has both singles and family dining section, and the service is good. Another plus is that there are nonspicy options for kids 😊
If you are in Makkah, do not miss this experience! Highly...
