Memaz Restaurant & Cafe — Restaurant in Medina Province

This was a very pleasant Mediterranean dining experience. The staff, the food and the ambiance were all top notch.

The staff was adequately attentive and very polite. Our waiter was Shaahid and he did an excellent job of making sure we were taken care of.

We tried a few different dishes and all were excellent. We stayed with taboula and lentil soup, which were both good. The lentil soup had a unique slightly smoky taste to it. The mixed grill was delicious, perfectly seasoned. The portions were a bit small, but I definitely look forward to having it again. The pizza was also excellent. Very thin crust, just enough sauce and good quality mozzarella. We had a couple of deserts. The pecan pie is definitely the best I’ve had in Madeenah. I have a feeling that you just can’t go wrong with anything you order at Memaz.

The dining area is very spacious and airy. The booths were comfortable and well lit. I’m starting to get into utensils, and Memaz has high quality, heavy knives, forks and spoons. The plates had flecks in them which I did not like.

The prices were appropriate. I just felt like the mixed grill could have had a bit more meat.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant in Medina. One of the first things we appreciated was the open and free parking, which made our visit very convenient. The restaurant is located just across the road, making it easy to find.

Inside, the place is spacious, beautifully designed, and offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s both elegant and comfortable, with plenty of seating options. There are also outdoor tables for those who prefer dining al fresco.

We ordered the kebab with berries, which was served alongside rice. The dish was absolutely delicious — a perfect blend of flavors. It was easily a 10 out of 10. We also tried the lentil soup, and it was equally impressive — rich, flavorful, and very satisfying.

For drinks, we went with the watermelon mojito. It had just the right amount of sweetness, which we really enjoyed.

A very unpleasant situation!!! I was with my wife who came from Europe and my doctor colleague for dinner. Otherwise, I am a frequent guest of this restaurant. We ordered a couple of salads, juices and some cake. We were sitting for about an hour and a half. At one point, the lady who works there came to us. She didn't know English. The waiter comes and translates to us in English that we should get up and leave restaurant or to order something else because the table is reserved. It was very crowded at that moment and someone needed a table, we only ordered salads and juices. Is this an express restaurant where you come, eat and go? This has never happened to me before. I have never seen such unprofessionalism. I am very humbled. Afterwards they came to apologize, but I will never come to this restaurant again.
