With such a beautiful traditional setup, glowing reviews, and premium pricing, expectations were naturally high. The service absolutely delivered; very hospitable staff and a kind, responsive manager. But unfortunately, the food quality fell short.

We ordered the Sultani Egg (boiled eggs in tomato paste with mozzarella), Shakshouka Special, Alexandrian Liver, Ful Special, and Saudi Champagne. The Liver, Ful, and Tamees bread were excellent. However, both egg dishes had a strong, unpleasant smell that even the waiter acknowledged. I had to return them twice and eventually cancel. Thankfully, the manager refunded the amount and generously offered a complimentary caramel pudding.

I suggested they consider cooking the eggs with a little more oil, adding cheese later, and thoroughly cleaning the egg pans: hopefully it helps.

Two suggestions: — Tipping should remain voluntary. Labeling “0%” as “not satisfied” on the digital invoice feels unfair and unprofessional. — Saudi champagne would be more refreshing if made the traditional way, using Perrier with apple juice or Rauch apple drink instead of Sprite/7Up, which makes it overly sweet.

Beautiful ambiance and great service. Just needs better consistency in food quality.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Restaurant, where I experienced exceptional service and exquisite Arabic cuisine, all thanks to Saeed Shaban.

I made a very good comment about this restaurant a couple of weeks back after my first visit. I am changing my review with the recommendation to not go there. They do not stick to their breakfast times. One weekend it's 12:30 than it's 11 am. It is always changing and they are not flexible. They let rather customers walk away than serving them. We spent a couple of times Uber money to get there for nothing. The restaurant definitely has great food but unfortunately we will never go there again.

Btw. the service is extremely slow and incompetent, and the lady at the entrance only playing with her mobile phone instead of...
