I visited Anjappar Chettinad Indian Restaurant with a group of seven adults, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely concerning. Shortly after our meal, all of us suffered from severe food poisoning symptoms, including vomiting, diarrhea, high fever, severe stomach pain, and headaches, which lasted for about five days. Several of us required emergency medical attention, including the administration of IV fluids.

This incident was particularly alarming because it was not an isolated case. Several of my friends have reported similar health issues after eating at this restaurant in the past. When we raised the issue with the management, they were dismissive and claimed that no prior complaints had been made.

Given the severity and recurrence of these health issues, I believe it's crucial for potential patrons to be aware of this risk. It also seems necessary for the relevant health authorities to investigate and ensure that the restaurant meets all safety standards to prevent further incidents.

In response to the restaurant's reply, below is my response:

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your concern and the apology for the distress we experienced after dining at your restaurant. I understand and respect your position that you serve freshly prepared food and have not received similar complaints from other customers. However, the health issues that followed our meal were serious and distressing.

While I recognize that you have many satisfied customers, it is also important to address incidents where experiences deviate from this norm. The response from your manager did not fully address our concerns, which led us to share our experience publicly to inform potential patrons and encourage a thorough investigation into our case.

Regarding the request for personal information about my friends who have had similar issues, I must prioritize their privacy and cannot disclose their contact details without their consent. However, I encourage you to review your internal records as there may have been prior informal complaints that were not fully documented.

My intention in posting the review was not to harm your reputation but to seek a more substantive response to a serious health concern. Anjappar restaurant has become preferred choice for Indian cuisine for my family. The dishes are exceptionally tasty, and the staff is extremely friendly. I can confidently state that it is among the top Indian restaurants in Riyadh. The food is fresh and delightful, and I have never tasted anything quite like it. Anjappar restaurant is truly amazing, offering an awesome dining experience with a fantastic ambiance. I highly recommend Anjappar restaurant.

I did a Case study for the month of February, 2024. Having breakfast and dinner at Anjappar, every day of the month, checking out their extensive menu.

Can write an elaborate review on the presentation, portion, colour, taste and aroma of the delicacies over there. For now, I leave it to the imagination of food connoisseurs and enthusiasts.

What I want to highlight is the cost for 1 month of extraordinary healthy food and satisfying happy breakfast and dinner, every single time.

It never is costly to visit a speciality cuisine for every day of the week, for 2 meals 🙏

Chettinad cuisine is synonymous with Anjappar as search is synonymous with Google. Much like the software giant, Anjappar offers varied and extensive menu covering breakfast to dinner and savouries to sweets.

Specific to a franchise in Riyadh, the facility is in a corner, facilitating cornerstone of every healthy, tasty meal of the day and night of course.

It ain't never costly to have 2 quality servings a day and stay extremely healthy and satisfied with a classic speciality cuisine.
