Nawara Fish Restaurant — Restaurant in Riyadh Region

Nawara Alexandria fish store. Prices : over price comparing to the other similar restaurants in his category. Limited choices of shrimps and the only thing when I visited them was the jumbo prawns which was 175 sr/kg ? While outside fish stores are selling them with less than 120 sr/kg. I was about to dine in but the flies is all around the place and i changed my order to takeout!

I ordered denis fish about 560 gm for 36 sr and the 1 kg in the fish market is about the same of their price for 1/2 kg! The taste was not bad but oily as it was cooked in the oven.

Mix sea food soup for 29 sr. The mix sea food content is obviously Frozen! I see the price is overpriced for a frozen mix seafood and not fresh!

Syadyah rice . Was good really with Egyptian touch & flavors.

The staff at the fish counter act if he is in hurry and not behaved properly. However it is always not easy dealing with Egyptian staff as an Asian as I've seen them going under inferiority complex and misbehaving for no reason 😃. However the grilled fish was amazing.. Friend fish was excellently fried not at all dried out.. Fried shrimps was below average.. Serving hot bread was excellent.. Rice was good but must have more options... Service was good. This place is modest but serves great food with relatively affordable prices. We ordered white seafood soup which was excellent, grilled sea bream which was too salty for my taste so I didn't particularly like it but my colleagues did, butter grilled shrimps and Tajin calamari both were very good but again too salty, also brown fish rice (Saiadia) which was made by Egyptian rice and cooked to perfection. The place is, again, very modest but it accepts families and the service is quick...
