La Terrasse is a well-located restaurant within the Terrou-Bi Hotel. The atmosphere was surprisingly pleasant and created a great dining setting.

When it comes to the food, our experience was mixed. The half chicken and the desserts were quite enjoyable. However, the pork ribs were a disappointment; they consisted mostly of fat, with very little meat.

We raised our concern with the waitress, mentioning, “Is this really ribs? There’s too much fat.” She replied, “Yes, that’s how ribs are.” We responded that it seemed excessive, and she eventually said, “Ok, give your plate.” They kindly exchanged the dish, but unfortunately, the replacement was still not appetizing.

As for the service, I was slightly let down by the waitress’s attitude. She wasn’t as welcoming as her colleagues and responded a bit defensively to our comments about the ribs. That said, the rest of the team offered a much better experience.

I appreciate the manager for taking our feedback seriously and passing it along to the kitchen.

Despite these small issues, I still think La Terrasse is a lovely place worth visiting. It’s a great spot for dinner with friends, colleagues, or partners.

Un Déjeuner Buffet Agréable avec Terrasse, mais des Améliorations Possibles

J'ai récemment profité du buffet déjeuner chez la Terrasse, et c’était une belle expérience dans un cadre agréable avec terrasse. La nourriture était délicieuse, avec une large sélection de plats frais et savoureux. L'ambiance sur la terrasse était charmante, et le personnel attentif et sympathique, ce qui a rendu l'expérience d'autant plus plaisante.

Cependant, certains aspects pourraient être améliorés. La zone de grillades est assez proche des tables, et parfois, la fumée dérive vers l’espace repas, perturbant l’atmosphère par ailleurs agréable. Déplacer légèrement le grill plus loin de la terrasse rendrait l’expérience encore plus agréable pour les convives.

De plus, la musique de fond était un peu forte pour un déjeuner tranquille, surtout le week-end lorsque beaucoup cherchent à se détendre. Réduire le volume permettrait de créer une ambiance plus paisible, idéale pour un repas décontracté le week-end.

However, a couple of aspects could be improved. The grill area is quite close to the tables, and at times, smoke drifted over to the seating, affecting the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Relocating the grill slightly further from the dining area would make it even more enjoyable for guests on the terrace.

Additionally, the background music was a bit too loud for a relaxed lunch, especially on weekends when many people are looking to unwind. Lowering the volume would create a more peaceful environment, ideal for a leisurely weekend meal.

Food at the buffet was as good as expected once again, even though a bit less diversified this time, but matching a great place and atmosphere. Most of the staff welcoming and professional as usual too, except that waiter who couldnt let us take our time and keep trying to explain himself from his bad experiences.
