The Spot Restaurant/Grill — Restaurant in Dakar

The spot is a quick stop hide out for me. Right at the entrance /exit of Hann Maristes. They serve great African Dishes. They also serve the standard Lebanese and American take away foods... Lovely place to sit in or out. With Air-conditioning and WiFi. I prefer to sit inside. Hann Maristes in the evenings is a notorious Mosquito base and so it's wise to be indoors. Would be wise to reserve space just before going there as indoor capacity is still pretty small. Lovely...

Unfortunately I had to decrease the evaluation because the fries that came with our meals tasted fishy, after asking the supervisor to change them specially that this is the second time we have this issue, he tasted them and explained that for him this is normal for fries. Apparently they fry most of the food with the same oil, never...

Great food... love the simple appetizers and lower prices of them... good wings, quesadillas, fries and then the main meals are good too. Very impressed with service and management - I got money back for meal when my “take home” meal was forgotten about and not brought to me before leaving - my whole meal was refunded...
