Wagokoro Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Dakar

I would definitely come back again! The decor and ambience of the place is on point. The owner is very polite and even was concerned if i ordered too much food as i was dining solo. I ordered the tempura shrimp, sushi and chicken teriyaki with rice. For drinks i got the mini sake and the moscow mule. The tempura was crispy and crunchy, clearly it was freshly made to order. The teriyaki lacked flavor, i wished it had a more intense teriyaki taste. The sushi was fresh and the wasabi as well. Everything was nicely plated and served at the right timing and sequence. The only issue i have is the location. For a solo person in dakar, the journey to the place made me kind of worried as it was abit creepy and dark. However, upon arriving i was automatically relaxed as the restaurant itself was nicely lit up and welcoming. The only thing i did not like was the moscow mule. i welcome this addition to gastronomic offer of dakar! i very much like the interior decoration, it is in line with type of restaurant, japanese minimalistic elegance. however, few improvements would be appreciated.|even though google maps gps brought us spot on, we still spent time wandering around as there are no easily visible signs of the restaurant.|as for the food, under reserve that i visited "wagokoro" during month of ramadan before evening break fast time, sushi/sashimi ingredients (fish and rice alike) of dishes we ordered could have been more fresh.|my biggest complaint goes to provision of wasabi paste and soy sauce. the initial quantities served with orders are insufficient and there are no refills set on tables, and waiters took time to bring them.|so, all in all, we ate our food, however, all this affected negatively our enjoying the food...
