Vege House (take away) — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

Today I was feeling a little under the weather and was craving homey, healthy, warm food, but I was to lazy to cook so decided to scroll thru Wolt to find something for dinner. Ordering from Vege house was the best decision I make today! I ordered a soup, pasta and a brownie. The “mama’s soup” was packed with veggies and flavor, really remind me of my mom and made me feel better instantly! (This is a soup for ppl that love celery as much as I do). The “red pasta” is like no pasta I tried before, everything about this pasta is perfect, and the portion was huge!! My husband eat half of the portion since it was too much for me, but I wished I had a bigger stomach to eat it all!!! The brownies are good, the texture is really nice and creamy and the portion is also big, although they don’t look like the brownies in the pictures. My sweet tooth wished they were a little bit more sweet but I will definitely eat them again since I enjoyed them. :)

Tricky to find a place. Watch second floors of the buildings around ya till you find a little green sign "Vege house", go to that building to the second floor, guys are sitting at the very end of the hall near that very sign you saw outside.

They suggested me to try their cheeseburger. All ingredient very pleasantly accompaniate each other and result in the very tasty flavor. Give it a shot if you into burgers! They gave me fries with burger as well, but that wasn't usual a couple stick of chopped patato, it was a freaking whole bag of fries, nice.

P.S. You guys asked me to compare your burger with veggie burger from MC, but I actually haven't tried one there. Anyway, any properly cooked burgers would be better than burgers from MC, so I have no doubt that yours are much...

Ordered the vegan gyro and the vegan double cheezeburger.

The cheeseburger was awful. The plant based patties had a weird texture and it tasted unseasoned and old / stale. The cheese on the burger was very gummy and also had an off taste. Everything was also cold and had way too much sauce.

The gyro was a little better, although it had way too much sauce and it was also cold.

As a vegan I’m disappointed in the low standard in quality of this food. I do not recommend this place. Hopefully it was just a one off bad...
