We came on a Tuesday and had the most delicious fish curry and BLTs (bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich). We saw a sign that said Buffet on Wednesday and we knew we had to do it after having such a delicious lunch! You MUST make a reservation w a 300 CRS deposit because they prepare food based on the size of the crowd.
We came the next night and the crowd was surprisingly small for how delicious this buffet was! Everything was homemade and local Creole food!! We had salad w various toppings and a delicious dressing, sweet potato gratin (SO good and savory!), aubergine fried in butter, grilled BBQ chicken, rice w 3 different curries including octopus (my bf's favorite!), lentil and vegetable, and two massive grilled fish (Job Fish and Grouper)! This was so delicious and we ate SO much. Then we were given homemade tiramisu w creamy vanilla ice cream on the side!
Everything we have had here has been amazing. If you're in town on a Wednesday, you HAVE to check out this buffet! And if you're not, you need to come for lunch...

About 15 minutes later, another woman came out of the house and told us they opened at 11:00. We told her we were aware and were waiting. She then said they actually open at 11:30 and that there was no one available. A few moments later, she claimed that we needed a reservation, to which we replied we just wanted to have breakfast, and if that wasn’t possible, she could simply tell us.
In the end, we had to leave, as it was clear no one would be back for at least another hour or more. Terrible service, and the attitude of the owners was simply unacceptable. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I’m very disappointed with how we were treated. This experience does not reflect the warmth and hospitality this country...
