Rockpool Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Mahé

To start off, Barefoot & Rock pool please update your information center because i called almost 3 numbers from your facebook and google accounts whereby those numbers were registered under private individuals(Wrong numbers). We managed to book an appointment at Barefoot through a foreign worker via phone call, Reached the place, a lady who was on duty told us we have no appointment with them maybe we booked a table downstairs with RockPool, so we went back downstairs at RockPool, the Waiter showed us on a device that we made a booking with Barefoot and informed us to go upstairs,So at that point we had enough of the miscommunication between the TWO restaurants.I told the waiter that Barefoot sent us..The waiter was polite enough to give us a table and apologized on behalf of Barefoot.To be honest, the location is beautiful and relaxing but when it comes to Service/Food/Drinks i was disappointed..There were four of us dinning and we all ordered meat dish.We were amazed to see 'fish fins' in the french fries and it says a lot about the kitchen preps and state of cooking. We were baffled and curious on How old was the oil? Are they using the same deep fried oil to fry their fish and french fries?How often it is changed.? Be cautious of what is being handed out to the customers please. Allergies and Food poisoning is not a joke. We showed the Sri Lankan waiter the fish fins and he was embarassed even if they did not apologized on the chefs behalf. To top it all off, we ordered pizza for take away together with our previous orders and the state of the pizza sealed the decision and conclusion that I will never step foot at Barefoot OR RockPool again.Waste of Money and a huge DISGRACE for...

We visited Rockpool Bar & Restaurant twice, so far, 🤪 during our stay on Mahé 🌴 - once for lunch and once for dinner - and both experiences were nothing short of perfect. The food tasted absolutely amazing 😍, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. A special highlight and must-try is the battered fish (their version of fish and chips) 🐟🍟 - hands down one of the best we’ve ever had! The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and attentive 🙌, which made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. Service was quick, professional, and always with a smile. Parking is easy too 🚗: there are a few spots directly in front of the restaurant, and if those are taken, you’ll find more just 100-200 meters further north along the main road in front of a small kiosk. Very convenient! All in all, Rockpool is a fantastic spot with great vibes ✨, excellent service, and truly delicious food. We will definitely return on our next visit to the Seychelles. Highly...

The spot is really nice by the sea and good atmosphere but service is unfriendly and it is very expensive for what it is. Portion of food was poor, we waited 1 hour to receive a salad and a chicken with fries. I took the « papaya, mango, beef salad », I only received a small portion of green salad with some tinny slices of raw papaya (without taste) and they forgot to put the mango. When I ask the waitress where is the mango she said the slices are the mango. Then where is the papaya ? It is also those slices she answered. I really felt like I was being taken for an idiot. A big lack of professionalism and experience, so I ended up eating my salad without mango which was the reason I took this meal in the first place. Chicken was overcooked, with small portion again.
