CURIEUSE RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Praslin

We went there to close our 2 weeks holidays in Seychelles. We tried to book a few evenings before but they didn’t take any booking for outside guests. The experience was definitively worth it, they knew my name at the entrance, you park and they drive you to the restaurant itself. Food was delicious (we took starters, mains and dessert), our server was very friendly and highly professional. I had seen in a previous post thread they had Shishuan shrimps but it wasn’t on the current one, the chef nevertheless did it for me. My daughter wanted a brownie she saw on another table from the kid menu, it wasn’t on the main menu but there as well they accommodated for my daughter. We had dinner here twice while we stayed at Raffles. We are both vegetarian/ vegan and this restaurant had the most options we've found on the island so far. You can also order sushis from their sushi room (they have avocado, cucumber and pickle rolls as vegetarian options). The sushi chef even made us a special vegetarian platter, when we ate at the sushi room.

We had the vegetable noodles and a curry and both dishes were amazing and well portioned. I had a Mai Tai cocktail, which I have to say wasn't one of the best I had and also took quite long to arrive, which meant we got our food before the drinks.

I can highly recommend this place. The variety and quality of the dishes is perfect. As I am having many food allergies, it is often difficult for me to find something on the menu. But this time I just had the best and most caring Chef taking care of my allergies and I got my own individual food which I highly appreciated. I want to mention Chef Boy, as he was so attentitive, extremely friendly and cooked the best dishes I ever ate. He even made me try new Asian dishes and I fully trusted him.
