A perfectly balanced experience – our favorite evening on Praslin!
We visited Le Studio on a Friday evening for the buffet – and it was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip. This restaurant is a truly special place: it’s located inside the owner’s photo gallery, which creates a wonderfully atmospheric and creative setting for dinner. Everything feels thoughtfully arranged, stylish yet relaxed – simply a place where you feel at ease.
The host, originally a filmmaker and photographer, is incredibly friendly and brings genuine warmth and passion to his role. You can sense that he puts his heart into every detail, and that makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.
The buffet was excellent – fresh, varied, and full of refined flavors. The prices are more than fair for the quality you receive.
Everything just comes together beautifully here. A clear recommendation for anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining...
Read moreLe Studio Café Gallery was such a great surprise. The owner, Paul, is Canadian (like us!) but has lived in the Seychelles for over 40 years. The restaurant is inside their art studio and you can browse all of Paul’s work, we even left with a deck of beautiful playing cards with each card featuring a unique photo of the Seychelles taken by Paul himself.
The food was amazing – the Bouchons de Praslin (pork dumplings) are a must, and both the Shrimp Rougail and Job Fish in capsicum and oyster sauce were the best meals we’ve had in our almost three weeks in the Seychelles. Prices were very fair, and everything is cooked by Paul and his wife. Great wine and espresso to end the night.
Go for the food, and stay for the gallery, conversation, and music – a real gem that just opened...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I had the pleasure of enjoying an extraordinary dinner at the restaurant to celebrate our engagement. We had a wonderful time — the food was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared on the spot. The owner, Paul, created a fantastic atmosphere, sharing stories about the dishes while also telling us about his professional and personal journey connected to the Seychelles.
We also had the chance to meet his wonderful wife and son, who prepared the delicious meals for us. The restaurant has a warm, family-like atmosphere, and it’s also partly an art gallery, where you can admire the owner’s beautiful...
