Roots Juicery Juice Bar — Restaurant in Praslin

Absolutely disappointing experience. I went to this juice bar as a local customer and asked for a smoothie and a smoothie bowl both of which they flat-out refused to serve me. I even asked for a salad, and guess what? “Not making those either.” Funny enough, just the day before, I saw tourists being served the exact same things, along with other options that apparently weren’t “available” when I asked. It honestly felt like I was being treated differently simply because I’m local. The server’s attitude didn’t help either cold, unfriendly, and clearly not interested in offering decent service. If you’re going to advertise smoothies, smoothie bowls, and salads, at least have the decency to serve them to all your customers, not just the ones who look like they’re visiting from abroad.

We came here for the breakfast and i wanted to order a smoothie bowl excluding papaya in the ingredients and they said it is not possible, than i rather ordered berry bowl, which includes berries, coconut, banana - i got a smoothie of frozen berries and on it was banana, watermelon and a slice of ananas- watermelon and ananas are not mentioned on the menu in berry bowl, and because I don’t like watermelon i ate smoothie bowl with banana - not worth the money at all!!! They said that it is hard to have fresh berries on the island and i said that is ok but if they are gonna exchange fruits with fruits of they’re choice they have to ask the customer which fruit not on the menu they want! The banana bread on the other hand my boyfriend...

This is a very cute little food truck, selling healthy smoothies and fresh juices without any sugar being added. I had the Chocobanana Smoothie which was a really great choice. It tasted a bit like a chocolate milkshake, only that it was sugar free and very healthy. At the place u also have a nice view over the harbour and can observe the street life of Baie st anne. I really liked it there. The only downside that I found is, that the drinks are pretty pricey. Though if u are fine with paying a high price for a good and healthy product I would definitely recommend the place.
