Usually my 'go to' mookata is at golden Mile. Others I have tried are hollow attempts at selling a gimmick without adding any effort in marinate or sauces.
Came here spontaneously with a bunch of friends and were REALLY impressed. While the customers would benefit from a couple of standing fans around... that's about the only negative I can say. The dishes are pretty damn legit.
I tried all three marinates: black pepper, MALA, basil and they were all pretty good. Basil was something I didn't expect to be so well favoured.
I can see how black pepper wld easily be the most popular as it works so well with the meats.
The mala was decent and would appeal to Mala fans but it is gentle and not overpowering.
I am narrowing it down to three dishes u simply HAVE to try.
The minced meat patty thing is awesome( Be patient and let it char. REALLY) , the pork belly is great, and the beef is good too. Their price is really reasonable ($8-$12) for the many chunks of meat u get.
For sauces they have your standard green nam jim, and another red chilli (my least favourite but good effort blending Mae Pranom sweet chilli sauce with other ingredients so it didn't taste totally generic )
Also I find the sincerity of the staff endearing. They seem quite young? they are really helpful and attentive. I really wish them the best and hope they are doing well and continue to do well.
Great job guys, u have given me and my buds a new place to hangout after tennis.

It is painful for too as another one bites the dust.
Perhaps the rental was too high. Perhaps hopes were too high. Perhaps the risks were overlooked.
Ultimately, their crazy prices, remote location, and poor service will lead to the same fate as the previous occupier of the premises. Gone.

Read moreWent back recently and was pleasantly surprised with newly added items in their menu short rib, thick cut pork belly. Ambience as good as previously.
Been eating since they were at bukit Batok crescent. Thick slices of fresh meat. Have to always order their basil pork - well marinated. Love that there’s option for a platter therefore you wouldn’t need to decide what to order. Prawns are always fresh. Fish offered in the platter is dory fish.
Happy there was a good price for beer bucket of Singha beers. Previously beverages pricing was on the high side.
Super chill ambience, doesn’t feel like sg. Good ventilation as the tables are located in a...
