This is a newly opened hotpot place that focuses on beef. I have been to their previous outlets and really like the style of hotpot.

You choose from a variety of different cuts of beef. Each is served with the cooking time. And on top of that, they had other dishes on offer as well such as beef pancakes and skewers.

We got the promotional set. This came with 2 soups; spicy and beef broth. Both broth had subtle taste which works well as what it focuses on is the meat. The set also came with 3 different cuts of beef; neck, blade and shank. The additional hotpot ingredients include beef balls, cured meat sausage, a vegetable platter (very presentable as it is served in a bowl the shape of a bull), Chinese yam and sprouts. They also served the chaozhou vermicelli and beef pancake.

The service was good; we were quickly served the sauces; the signature and sancha sauces. This is $1 if you don’t get it as part of a set. They then placed some chives and celery in each of our bowl and poured the soup in to allow us to taste the soup before-hand. Then they will help us cook the meat. This was really good as it means we didn’t have to worry about overcoming the meat. For the vermicelli, they brought a separate bowl with some condiments in it just to mix with our vermicelli.

We also added on the flaming bone marrow. This was a show in itself and the bone marrow was really tasty and we wished there were more.

I really enjoyed eating hotpot in this place....

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the hotpot restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Here are some key points from my visit:

  1. The service at this restaurant is exceptional. Not only were the staff friendly and attentive, but they also took the time to cook for us, adding a personal touch to our dining experience.

  2. One standout feature of this restaurant is the sauce bar, their own unique sauces (with Fried Pork Lard) for just $1 per bowl. This pricing is significantly cheaper compared to other competitors, making it a great value add-on to the meal.

  3. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for a relaxing meal with friends or family.

  4. One of the highlights of the dining experience was the freshness of the ingredients. The hotpot selection offered a wide variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles, all of which were incredibly fresh and high quality. The meat was tender and flavorful, the seafood was perfectly cooked, and the vegetables were crisp and vibrant.

  5. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the many promotions and free gifts offered by the restaurant. It's always a bonus to receive extra perks when dining out.

Overall, my experience at this hotpot restaurant was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great...

Went for dinner on 19 April 2024 (Friday) and restaurant was probably 3/4 full at that time but was seated promptly.

Order was via QR code which was quite convenient and after we placed our order, the drinks, soup base and the meat came promptly. However, what was puzzling was that the other hotpot ingredients (e.g., spinach, noodles, mushroom) took quite long when these are not cooked dishes.

Our order of radish came only when we were almost done with our meal and even the bbq prawns came earlier than the raw radish. We had to ask the servers multiple times to check our order but the food just took very long to arrive. In the end, we left without eating the bbq skewers that we ordered in our very first order. It never came despite us asking many times and until we were done with our meal and drinks.

Nevertheless, I must commend the quality of the food especially the freshness of the meat. The sauces were nice as well. The manager (i think) gave us a 10 percent discount for the long wait and the missing order which was a nice gesture for service recovery.

I would recommend coming here for the food but just take note of how long the order would take to arrive and probably even longer if it was...

I was seriously impressed by our first visit to Chao Niu, a spot that really nails the art of Teochew-style beef hotpot, a tribute to Chaoshan’s specialty. Picture this: paper-thin slices of premium—and I mean premium—beef from prime cuts like topside, flank, blade, neck, rump, and even tongue. You give them a quick swirl—each cut comes with the precise number of seconds to dunk the meat—in a clear, beef-bone broth that’s light yet packed with flavour, letting the beef’s natural taste take center stage. We also tried the chicken collagen broth, and wow, it was just as tasty. The dipping sauces were on point, too. My top pick was the signature sauce—a mildly spicy soy concoction infused with aromatics with just the right kick. And then there’s the grand finale: tossing those velvety, chewy Chaozhou vermicelli into the rich broth, soaking up all that goodness, perfect with the bouncy beef and tendon balls. A stellar beef-laden dinner. We recently went to their Duo Gallery outlet and it was just as good.

Beef hot pot buffet from $38++ for adults and $28++ for children. One of my favorite beef hot pot for now as the beef cuts are super fresh! Super worth it in my opinion. I would gladly from my home in the east to the west for this buffet. Besides the premium beef cuts they have bbq skewers and other cooked food. The selection is wide enough and you will not be bored even if you do not top up for the exclusive items. This National Day season, Chaoniu Hot Pot is turning up the heat with FREE premium beef — just for wearing red! ❤️ Choose from either Beef Tongue – thin, bouncy, savoury perfection Neck Cut – rich, marbled, and melt in your mouth 📅 Now till 10 Aug – simply dine in red & choose your free cut at West Coast Plaza outlet. PLUS: ✨ Spend $200 per table and stand a chance to win a Designer Blind Box! Think adorable collectibles like LABUBU or CRYBABY 👀💥 🗓️ Until 31 Aug 2025 | This promo is available at Duo Galleria outlet too! This is your sign to visit Chaoniu Hot Pot to enjoy the feast!
