Went for lunch, ordered a ribeye steak, chicken briyani and 2 drinks. Noticed there was this other table of 4 pax and we seemed to have ordered at the same time probably, or even earlier than them.
15 mins later, we only get 1 drink and the other table started having their food served. Soon after their table was full of food and we still only had 1 drink. I spoke to the server and asked for the other drink but nothing came. The server started giving reasons like they are very busy etc. But they only had 5 tables, out of which , 4 tables had their food. Where's ours?
I went to the counter and ask for my order to be cancelled, only to be told food will be out in "2 mins". I had to ask for the 2nd drink again, only to be told coming soon again.
When the food finally came, they said "sorry to keep you waiting because the chef was not here". ?!?! Whut?! When 4 tables were filled with food, they have no chef to prepare our food? Sounded like a bad excuse. Even so, to give the benefit of doubt, wouldn't it be more respectful to have inform us beforehand?
The other table mentioned are caucasians, clearly they were prioritised and given better service. Cant help but feel discriminated.
On the food, steak was a huge disappointment (even more so after waiting 30mins), meat was tough and not even close to being medium. Chicken briyani was good and flavourful, would recommend this over their steak anytime. Anyway, with this experience, i am never going to patronise them, this will be the first...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with the management of this establishment. While the food was undeniably good and a few of the waiters provided excellent service, the behaviour of the boss left much to be desired. Despite seeing that we had not finished our drinks, he repeatedly instructed his waiters to rush us to leave. What made this even more frustrating was watching his friends seated comfortably with full glasses, which felt blatantly unfair.
To make matters worse, the staff presented the bill and then immediately turned off the lights. It was baffling, how are guests expected to review and settle the bill in complete darkness? This lack of professionalism and basic courtesy is something I have never experienced before, and it completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our visit.
As if this wasn’t enough, a lady seated with the boss became visibly intoxicated, blabbering unpleasant words and displaying aggressive behaviour. This created a highly uncomfortable atmosphere for other patrons, which the management made no effort to address.
I sincerely hope the management reconsiders how they treat their patrons and takes steps to create a more welcoming and professional...
Read moreI have been here 4 times. The food is fine. Some are good, some are just ok. Their Angamaly Pork is one of the best sellers but the port content is so less, just 20-40% is Pork, rest are an Indian variety of potato I guess. They have to change that proportion, else it's not worth the money right now. Their Mexican dishes are definitely good, you should try their Fish tacos. It sounded weird when I heard of it, but they have a very good version of it which you may not really get anywhere else in SG. Their other Kerala dishes are just fine, can't compare them with the likes of other Kerala restaurants in SG like Premas, Paradise, Spice Junction, Kayaloram. They should improve their Kerala dishes. E.g the malabar chicken, beef curry, beef roast, these dishes are not where close to what their competitors give in Singapore. I suggest the owners to just try their dishes side by side with their competitors food. Service is good. I find the service staff here much better than the competitors, smiling and welcoming. Could be slow sometimes but usually they are fine. Their strawberry kallu is ❤️ My friends have tried their cocktails and says it's good I tried their mocktails and...
