As a solo traveler always on the lookout for halal-certified spots in Singapore, I was so glad a friend recommended Dajie Bedok! It’s tucked inside the Bedok area, but once you’re here, it doesn’t feel like a typical market at all. The vibes are fun, and it’s perfect if you want something a little different from the usual tourist food spots. I tried the Mala soup base and Tom Yum soup for hotpot, both were so flavourful and definitely a must-try if you love bold tastes. I also paired it with a Thai Tea, which was refreshing after all the spicy goodness. They even have Mala Dry if you prefer something less DIY, which I’ll definitely come back for. What I love most is how it’s halal-certified and caters to groups or even solo diners like me. Portions are generous, the staff are friendly, and the supper hours (open till 2AM!) make it such a reliable late-night spot. Highly recommend this place if you’re exploring halal eats beyond the mainstream areas. Definitely one of my new favourites in the East!

as the girl at the table next to us said, “ unbelievably overpriced “ . and she was right. the mala was subpar. didn’t even taste like mala just fried noodles. u can’t choose the quantity of the items for urself. you’re given a piece of paper to tick off whatever ingredients u want and that’s about it. i prefer not going to a mala restaurant that does this since how am i to know im getting all 100g of chicken that i ticked off and paid for ? ( not saying this is what happened here. just my personal preference ). paid $50 for two pax when we could’ve gotten a better tasting mala at kopitiam under $50. disappointing, will not be coming down again

If you guys looking for midnight halal hot pot or mala you can go here they open until 2am. For hot pot got Set A (28.80) and Set B ($38.80) i choose set B can share up to 3-4 pax if you are small eaters. Got this Chinese uncle he so friendly I couldn’t catch his name but he so helpful for suggesting us wht to get since we are first time there. The soup is free refill btw. And if u guys think the set are not enough for you all you can go with add on ala carte also. For sure will come again and explore other menu. Can just walk in except of public holiday mayb need to do for reservations or call them directly :)

Worst vendor on Foodpanda, a few times ordered and will change order without informing customer. Last week ordered yong tau foo with soup and change to laksa for me without informing and this week ordered from FP 5 items, 2 items unavailable, without informing me vendor send to me the incomplete order. This is very unprofessional for a food business, you must call customer before any changes, so now I eat foods my other family member starve and just watch? Any changes must inform customer first, don't be so bochap can? I pay delivery charges and expect my order to be fulfilled. Boycott such irresponsible vendor, don't do online business if you don't have basic customer service etiquette.

if you had read the many bad reviews for your restaurant in Panda app, you will see, the complaints are about the same issues eg. incomplete order, change order never inform customer and missing orders. Its obvious whoever is in charge of online orders didn't do their job and created such issues. I certainly didn't receive any options or notifications that my order will be changed and asking for my permission to proceed with the order. Unlike your restaurant, other vendors will always call me if items is unavailable or any changes to the order they need to make and ask for my permission...

Thumbs Up 👍! I did not expect the food to taste so authentic. I had the dry mala with level 2 spiciness. A lady server was very patience to assist me with my order in explaining to me how the spice level works. The food tasted awesomely mala balanced with the right level of the numb feeling of spice. Not overly oily nor salty, it's flavourful and appetising. It taste so much authentic then most of the mala stall I tried. This, coming from a halal shop, I am impressed and will definitely go back again. I do hope that the shop can have more variety of ingredients selection especially for vege lovers . Like brinjal, ladies fingers, french beans, ta pok, rice cake etc.. it would be great too if there is a BBQ steamboat set for single diner. Staff are very friendly, thoughtful and observate with their service. They can spot what their customers need and offer assistance without asking, example, a staff bought me a box of tissue without me asking when I am struggling with the spicy effect of running nose but I did not have tissue with me. I will definitely come back again. This time to try how the mala with noodles instead. Thank for such a wonderful dining experience especially for someone who had a long day of work looking for some peace and enjoyment to end the day with good food...
