Came here for my wife's birthday. We came around 545pm and managed to choose our seats. A good experienced server went through with us on the menu. The alfresco feel was good. But we had to discuss our options as I had several allergies.
Another server came to take our order upon but were reminded to leave within 2hours for the next seating. And when we didnt order the set menu, the server gave us a face though we picked 3 of their recommended mains. Duck confit, tiger prawn capellini and beef cheek. Considering we ordered 3 mains, we decided to skip the starters but were given a face again. The food was served pretty fast but cold to my astonishment. It wasnt a busy timing yet as the restaurant was only a quarter filled.
Food commentary: Duck confit: crispy on the outside, melty on the fats, but the meat was dry and tough. So why serve it cold? Capellini: aroma and flavour were good and well balanced. But serving it cold makes it oily at the base but dry on the surface Beef cheek: extremely tender. But serving it cold locks a distasteful ending taste that is worse at the nose.
The birthday dessert was sent to the wrong table, beside us. We billed and left and I think they didnt even realise since they didnt check with us on how was the experience. I could hear that the couple discussing that is neither of their birthday and that they were still on their mains but left their seat temporaily to take photo of the sunset. I am glad they enjoyed the free dessert from us though. It wasnt a good experience for us at that point of time so the dessert wasnt going to change that much. But at least it did for them, I would hope.
We didnt bother to find a waiter to clarify as we will most probably not come back given the experience and that the servers were all too busy to give a more personal touch to the experience. It was a busy day, yes, but given the cold food and cold interaction, not a pretty romantic place we expected. To sum it up, a cafe at a good location. Will try the restaurant opposite them the next time. As for food, I believe serving it hot or even warm would actually bring up the star to easily at least to 3 or 4. Photos speaks all if you are in for the eyes but note it is time and...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the newly renovated Dusk Restaurant and it absolutely stunning. Look at my photos!
Food is delicious and aesthetically pleasing by the way. From the appetizers to the desserts, each bite was delightful. Great job, Chef!
I also want to commend the manager on duty, AJ and basically the entire crew (I don’t have their names) for their exceptional service. They were attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and professional!
Overall, my experience at Dusk Restaurant was awesome. The renovation has truly transformed the space into a breathtaking dining destination, with the beautiful skyline and cable car as its natural background. It is actually a super hot and humid day but it is soooo cooling here! I thought I was overseas!
Highly recommended!

Dear MFLG,
I visited Dusk restaurant for Dining by JYRK on 10 December 2022 at 8pm. This is a rare opportunity for me to celebrate my friend’s birthday at such a unique alfresco dining venue in Singapore with incredible views, Michelin standard food and impeccable service.
Overall, my group of friends and I had an amazing and unforgettable dining experience. We loved the plating and food presentation, on top of the fine ingredients and wine pairing, plus the exquisite flavour that each dish presents.
Kudos to the team at MFLG and Chef Henrik for providing a Nordic-Asian Michelin experience set against breathtaking hilltop views in Singapore.
I would like to specially mention Mr Ajaib Singh Gill for providing the extra mile service out of pure good heart. I accidentally left my wallet after my meal and he came over to my residence after he knocked off from work to send it all the way to my place despite that it was after a long day after work and it was almost midnight. I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused and really thankful that he was extremely polite, genuine and helpful in the entire situation. A big thank you shout out to Mr Ajaib and I greatly commend him for his excellent service. Mount Faber Leisure should be very proud to have such a great member in their team.

Read moreIncredible restaurant, popped by and it happened to be open despite being listed as under renovations. Do take note that they will really be under renovations very soon and only reopening in March 2024.
Food was just heavenly, got the slow roasted pork ribs and it was just divine, meat was so tender and succulent, falling off the bone with just the slightest touch without even the need for a knife. The glaze on it was also superb, slightly reminiscent of char siew in terms of the sweetness but with it's own unique blend of aroma. The sauce was also superb, a honeyed mustard that really cuts through the richness of the fat while providing a whole new dimension to the flavor. Would 200% recommend to try it. The accompanying sides were no slouches either, with the pumpkin cubes cooked to sheer perfection, texture sublime with the natural sweetness accentuated while still being able to have the individual fibrous texture one would associate with pumpkin. Absolutely sumptuous and would love to be back once they are renovated for more.
Service was nothing to sneeze at either, with attentive service staff coming periodically to top up the water and checking with you if everything is fine. Not to mention the complementary side they gave to us just to enjoy the night. Absolute class act.
Ambience does not even need any mention, its incredible especially if you go near evening time, being able to see the sunset and transition to night with the cable cars being an incredible backdrop with their blinking lights and route together with the harbour and cityscape view. Transports you to a world that's unlike Singapore. The nighttime insects were a great touch too, with their reflective bodies catching the reflective neon lights casting lights of different shades like psychedelic fireflies.
Would recommend hands and feet down for anyone to try out especially if celebrating a special occasion or if you have that special someone to impress. One of the best restaurants I have been to since a long time coming and well worth the price paid despite being on the...
