If you're on the hunt for a budget-friendly dining experience that doubles as a feast for the senses, look no further than Family Mookata in Yishun. With prices starting at just S$14.90, this all-you-can-eat buffet is perfect for family gatherings or fun evenings with friends. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Family Mookata specializes in marinated meats, offering a mouthwatering selection of flavors, including garlic, black pepper, tom yum, honey tomato, mala, and curry. Choosing between pork and chicken as your base, there's plenty to tantalize your taste buds. For just S$14.90, guests can enjoy unlimited servings of their in-house marinated meats and fresh vegetables. Craving a seafood twist? Opt for the upgraded S$19.90 buffet to dive into free-flow offerings like baby lobsters, squid, mussels, and prawns. Plus, kids can join the fun for only S$9.90 โ€“ a fantastic deal for family outings! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

What sets Family Mookata apart is not just the delicious food but also their commitment to giving back. In November 2024, they are partnering with Give.Asia to support the ChildMed Movement, which provides healthcare for underprivileged children. For every diner who enjoys a meal, S$1 will be donated to help children in urgent medical need. This initiative allows you to savor a delightful mookata experience while contributing to a noble cause. โค๏ธโค๏ธ

To add to the fun, Family Mookata offers a loyalty program where diners can accumulate stamps for discounts and enter a Christmas lucky draw for an iPhone after completing the stamp card. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Family Mookata is more than just a buffet; itโ€™s a place where your appetite for good food can help make a difference in the lives of children in need. The warm atmosphere, delicious offerings, and community-focused initiatives make it a must-visit. Grab your family and friends, and enjoy a night out thatโ€™s as fulfilling for your stomach as it is for...

Happen to chance upon Family Mookata when viewing IG reel and saw the all-you-can-eat buffet (Seafood is priced at $19.90/pax and Non-seafood at $14.90/pax).

We came early at 5.45pm on 23rd March 2024 as I read some reviews saying that the wait could be as long as 1 hour during the 7pm dinner time.

Service was prompt as we paid and proceed to look for our tables. The only downside is I am not so much of a Seafood lover but my wife is but we are not allowed to order 1 Seafood and 1 Non-seafood to be seated on the same table which we could understand.

The variety of selections is not alot but is more than decent enough considering the price. An improvement would be to label the meat items as I could not quite figure out which are pork vs chicken and the flavour of marination. Recommend items are the Cheese Tofu, Scallops, Enoki and Fish slice!

Like that they provide condiments, and also the indian staffs were very prompt in changing our bbq baking paper (when it turns black) and fuel cartridge (when we ran out of gas).

The toilet and sink are also nearby which made it convenient to wash off our oily hands once you have peeled off the prawns, crabs and mini lobsters.

Although located at a very ulu part of Yishun - Northview Bizhub, Family Mookata is definitely worth the trip down to satisfy your...

BAD HYGIENE. Not sure why there are so many good reviews because itโ€™s really not that great. For the price itโ€™s very WORTH though! Itโ€™s self-service so you go and take your own ingredients to cook. If you really want to come try, make sure to just get the seafood buffet ($19.9) rather than the protein buffet ($14.9) cus itโ€™s just more worth.

The lady with the tattoo at the counter was quite rude as she kept beckoning us to come forward even though I just wanted to look at their signboard first. As someone else has mentioned, there were two little girls who were working there and they were not wearing gloves + mask when they were helping to top up the raw ingredients (saw her sneeze and wipe her nose with her bare hands). I also saw a rat crawling on the pipes above their stall, hopefully they call an exterminator soon. There was a fly in the fridge where they stored the food (saw it when I went to get more raw food) Soup by itself is really plain but if you add in crab and lots of other ingredients it becomes infinitely better and so tasty The marinated meat was good, just not a fan of how they were shredded and not in pieces I liked that they had abalone, oyster, scallop, crab, clams, crawfish for the...
