Just as its name goes, ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ณ๐๐ฒ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ offers international comfort food like brunch, coffee and milkshakes sufficient to boost oneโs energy. The locally owned cafe started out at Bedok Reservoir in 2014 before venturing with its second branch in the Yishun neighbourhood.
The all-day brunch menu explores both Western and Asian cuisines, even paying homage to a local specialty with the ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ถ, ๐๐ด๐ด๐ & ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ป ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ. The dishโs main feature is a generous serving of sambal scrambled eggs with grilled prawns, reminiscent in flavour of chilli crab, along with broccoli and cheese on crusty toast slices. The eggs are cooked with precise taste and texture; creamy, with a hint of spiciness, without feeling too oily. The multitude of textures is also evident here, with tender prawns juxtaposed to the crunchy broccoli and the slightly chewy toast. Although, the choice of bread could have been more airy and crispy, to make the dish not too heavy.
Just like the brunch menu, the desserts come in many forms and flavours, featuring the classics like waffles and pancakes to homely tasting ones like ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐๐บ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ. The crustless dessert feels like a deconstructed version of its Western counterpart, with well-baked tender apple chunks dusted with cinnamon alongside vanilla ice cream, blueberry purรฉe and graham cracker crumbs. Every mouthful of this warm and comforting dessert gives a multi sensory experience, perfect both as an individual or sharing portion.

ย ย ย Read moreI love this cafe a lot. They are a hidden Jem in Yishun. The coffee and food has always been flavourful and enjoyable. Came back to have our favourite pork ribs and coffee, decided to try the fish and chip.
The fish is not seasoned, thereโs not even a hint of salt and pepper, the salad they served was not even checked properly, more than half are even spoilt. Changing in colour and black.. how can the chef and server not check before serving? How the chef take a beautiful juicy fresh piece of fish, without added salt and pepper, then put it in flour and batter and deep fry it. Serve it to the customer and say it a job well done? Grab a handful of mixed greens and goes โDang it, this plate is a masterpiece! Perfect unseasoned fish with rotting greens!โ
Our favourite ribs are dry and under seasoned, we can only taste the bbq sauce they slap on the meat. Where are the corn that comes with? Why serve potato salad that like itโs not even cooked? The potatoes are crispy and juicy like apple.
They have either changed the recipes or change the chef. How can the flavour of the food change so drastically?

The only issue is the kitchen never follow what has been requested/ordered Or the staff never check whether the food is correctly prepared. .
Upon order at the counter, I asked the staff which pasta is kid-friendly (no spicy) and was recommended with the Bacon Aglio that the staff said it can be done without spicy, and it is indicated in the receipt.
When my order is ready for collection at about 20mins later, i double checked if the pasta spicy with another lady who passed me the package and i was reassured that the pasta is not spicy.
After home, when i want to prepare the pasta for my 3years old, i notice there are many cut chillis inside the pasta and it is apparently not suitable for my kid. I tried and it is spicy.
I hope the operation can be improved as a simple clarification with kitchen by the staff can improve the service level & customer satisfaction.
Having said that, I will still continue support this cafe as the food is good. Hope my kid will have a chance to try a non-spicy...
