Fish & Co. — Restaurant in Singapore

I’ve always enjoyed Fish & Co. and had great experiences at other outlets, but this visit was really disappointing.

First, the prawns were overcooked to the point that the meat was completely stuck to the shell. Anyone who has eaten at other Fish & Co. locations knows that their prawns are usually fresh and well-cooked, sliding right out of the shell—but not here. When I pointed it out, they offered to remake the dish, but even the second batch had the same issue. It really made me wonder if the prawns were even fresh to begin with.

Then there was the squid. Almost a third of the pieces were still translucent instead of properly cooked. It was clear that not enough attention was given to preparing the dish correctly.

The worst part, however, was the dessert. When the ice cream arrived, there were ants crawling all over the bowl. It takes time for ants to gather, which raises serious concerns about how the food is being handled in the kitchen.

I still think Fish & Co. is a great brand, but I can’t recommend this outlet. The lack of consistency in cooking and the hygiene issues were really disappointing, and I hope they take...

We attempted to make a reservation for a table of 8 an hour prior to dining in. Shortly after we received a call explaining that they are currently almost full house, and are unable to accommodate a single table of 8 but instead we will be split.

I really appreciate the heads up, and we totally understand as we did make a last minute reservation for a Sunday lunch. From the start, already quite impressed. —————————————— We tried the Nyonya scallops, from the specials menu: familiar flavours with a little kick. Quite Nice.

On top of our usual order of the seafood platter we also tried the broth pot. Both are full of flavour, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Very Satisfying. —————————————- Personally, I was in awe to see the staff attend to the guests. Love the professionalism with a hint of friendliness, making a comfortable & cozy feel, though it was just 3 of them running the service floor. Good Job!
