I ordered from the stall selling Thai dishes - Phad Thai and Thai Pineapple Rice. They cost $4.50 and $5 respectively.
Flavour wise, I tried the Phad Thai and found it reasonably close to the original rendition of the dish. But the fish sauce flavour is lacking, probably to adapt to local tongues. As such the noodles can be a little dry. Overall it is good to try it when you are there. It came spicy so for those who can't take chilli, maybe you need to indicate while you order.
Portion wise it was huge for the money. Two orders can actually fill the stomach of three adults!! Plus it came with three big prawns!! Surely it is value for money! The portion for pineapple rice is also big...
Read moreReally good Herbal Soup stall. Tried the sichuan vegetable pork rib soup and it was ridiculously good for its price. I would have easily paid $6 for it. The meat is still flavourful and tender, the tendons are soft. Vegetables hold their shape yet break easily when bitten into.
It’s such a flavourful soup that it’s High value for money. If ever in the area, would love to try her other soups.

Had to give it a miss as do not like to wait at least 30min.
Very peculiar, suitable for those patient folks who dont mind to wait/queue. Also tv actor was not to be seen.
