Me and my niece today went over to the plantation plaza to have a late lunch after moving on to our new house. We choose chicken rice. The service staff did not understand anything at all when i read off the menu. I had to point out the food i want and the type of meat for her to understand. For payment, there was a signage that the stall accepted cdc voucher so i wanted to use my voucher to pay but she refused to accept say i cannot pay uaing that because she dont know how to do the scanning of the qr code. I paid cash to avoid a scene. I order steamed chicken rice n my niece had roasted chicken rice. Each plate was $5.80. When started eating we were totally appalled. Both of us had under cooked chicken. Thw roasted chicken had still bleeding portions and my steamed chicked has raw meat still showing. Portion of the meat has uncooked sections. We had to stop eating halfway ans showed the staff at the counter. She kept speaking to me in chinese even though i was indian and i was speaking to her in English. Losing my patience i spoke in chinese telling her the meat is uncooked, she looka at me shocked i speak chinese and aaid to me this is how chicken rice supposed to me. I lived all my 48 yrs of in Singapore as a Singaporean and i think i know better than the seller how chicken rice supposes to be cooked. She still shows me a bigger portion of roasted chicken which is still bleeding and says this is how all the chicken is. Absolutely disgusted at the standards of koufu stalls. I am not ever having another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to explore this new Koufu at Plantation Plaza. We tried Saba fish (Japanese stall, promotion $5.90), ban mian, mee siam and coffee ā. The saba fish was good, but the rice was dry and soup had little flavour. Would come back again for the saba fish. The dried ban mian ($5) was below average, lacking in flavour, just an egg and a little minced meat. Not worth the price. The lady at the stall did not give soup and we had to ask for it. The soup was tasteless. The mee siam ($4) was average. The man serving the mee siam boiled the orange coloured bee hoon and then poured in the gravy. I thought the bee hoon was cooked??š¤ If he cooked the bee hoon again, the seasoning would be washed away. The kopi c ($1.30) was not bad. We would come again to try other food like chicken rice, Korean food,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis very lady is extremely rude. I was over charged by $2 and her immediate reply was āwe donāt do refunds here, you go and look for my manager insideā than she continue to say āwe donāt do refunds one, at most extra ingredientsā Alright, I replied and accept extra ingredients BUT she continues to take orders from the queue and I have to wait until she cleared 5 more bowls (3 more customers) than she went in to call her manager. Which ended up I received my refunds.
My intention was to inform her that I was being overcharged BUT she shout and shout making a big fuss....
