Went there for late breakfast this morning. Ordered a Mutton Curry Briyani, Egg prata with added onion and fish curry, and a teh tarik and Kopi Tarik.
Taste wise, the food is great. One good thing I like is that the curry comes hot with the dish, regardless whether it was the briyani or the prata. Other places I eat at, it is not heated up, but not here. I believe that the warm sauce complements well with cooked food that is hot off the stove. So keep it up on keeping the curry served warm with the dishes. Portion wise, they were worth the price. Drinks too tasted good and were okay for the price.
Some points of improvement were that firstly, I feel the curry portion for the briyani could be a bit larger than just the small bowl served to us, as eventually when we asked for more mutton curry gravy, it was served in the large bowl as per the curry for the prata. Secondly, I mentioned that I would like mutton curry gravy for my prata, but was given fish curry instead. Lastly, I noticed that the north indian menu had naan, but was all sold out. I felt that it could be because of low demand and the inability to sell additional items apart from the current menu, but I feel it would better give an option to diners. Would suggest that naan only be available after a certain timing, and maybe lesser quantity be available. Also, would like to see Palak Paneer on the menu, as it is a popular indian dish, and it gives diners to eat with naan, if it is to be brought back.
Overall, I enjoyed my meal this...
Read moreNothing to rave about for their Maggie Goreng.
Waiting time is abit long when I came during non peak hour at 4+pm which only 1 table of 2 guests and I are waiting for our food.
Noodles are too soggy and the taste is exactly the same as cooking my own Maggie brand noodle at home.
I added chicken but the chicken are too little or cut into to small bites to even really taste it.
Overall, not worth for the price paid for Maggie Goreng.
Nevertheless, I will be back for their prata which I place my order in another separate transaction.
Prata was one of the better one that I tasted before. It is not too oily yet being just right for the crispiness.
Was intrigued with their option to make own prata choosing your own ingredients and I would be back to try it the next time round.
The Indian lady employee forget to give me the curry after asking me if I want it. She went into the kitchen and did not came out at all which I have been...
Read moreSaw TT introducing this prata and the owner seems so passionate abt his prata and even comes from a family with excellent prata making background. I was so excited to try leh. I even walked 30mins so I can burn more calories to try ur prata. I ordered plain, egg and plaster. The service was normal, not much queue and I received the prata pretty fast as well. Looks wise is not bad but the server’s hands were very wet and literally half of my plate kenna the water. All these are fine man, as long as my prata is damn good. But I was shocked when I tasted it. Firstly, it’s not crispy. But okay nvm some prata doesn’t have to be crispy to be delicious. The most disappointing of all was that it wasn’t even hot. The texture felt as tho it was microwaved. I very sad leh cause I really had a high expectation. Is it I came on the wrong day? I hope that’s the case. If not, please...
