Marina Country Club — Restaurant in Singapore

MCC is one of the remaining marina clubs in the eastern part of the island. The place really needs a facelift. Through the years it has change hands a few times and recently was acquired by new owners again. Gone are most of the restaurants, the 7 eleven store folded cause the cost was too high, only 3 eating house remain, one with hot pot, and the other two with karaoke facilities. There is a spa, pond fishing and a pet grooming and exercise facility. Most of the area, besides the marine docks, which can hold 100 vessel, are taken over by pre school education tenants. The biggest being Dayspring Kindergarten and Childcare, occupying over 35000sq ft.of space. The 8th floor ‘lighthouse‘ is also under their charge. The location of Marina Country Club is idyllic. Picturesque, scenic and Beautiful.

Despite being a private club, the public are allowed to use their facilities which include Dining, prawning and wakeboarding.

When it was first built it was an amazing place. I had loads of memories of the marina when i was in my childhood days. Eventually time took it's toll and slowly the marina started to change, where was once a pool now is a fishing pond. Boats don't feel the racks instead it's a bird hideout now. dock became run down due to time.

However, new management has taken over and is planning to renovate the marina. Plans are on going and i can't wait how it becomes overtime.

Great place for : Wakeboarding , Bars, Grilled/ Seafood restaurant, weddings, Kindergarten ???
