Originally given a seat at a sofa area, likely meant for 4 pax, so my partner and I ordered quite a fair bit of food. Upon placing our orders, the store manager (lady with bangs) immediately told us to shift to a much smaller table right at the end of the store. This was because a family of 4 was waiting in line and she would like to offer the table to them instead.
After our food is served, we were unable to dine in at ease due to the cramped space. Even our dishes are at the edge of the table newly assigned to us. We had to eat with one side of our elbows leaning onto the little wooden barrier. Only getting our first bite into the chicken kaarage, we realised that the inside was FROZEN COLD and UNCOOKED. This is a severe breach of health and safety issue. We also had a bad tummyache after, which we strongly believe is a result of the raw chicken kaarage.
The moment we informed the store manager, she just gave us an annoyed face and took the plate away from our hands. The chicken kaarage was not even newly prepared but only went for a second fry before returning to us in the same plate with the same leftover amount of chicken kaarage. There was not a single apology from the store manager, and the food was rudely squeezed onto our table while we were eating.
Even though we were later informed that the store manager may have mild autism, which we applaud the corporations for being inclusive and hiring people of disabilities, we do however think this is not an excuse for the extremely poor service and compromise in food safety &...

1st things 1st, your wait staff DO NOT SIMPLY ASK SEATED CUSTOMERS, shown to their seats BY YOUR STAFF, TO MOVE PLACES once seated. And worse, to have your wait staff show her displeasure at customers when we the customers refuse to move, as we are not obligated to and have the right to refuse so. What do you take customers as, DOGS OR ANIMALS in a circus huh? That can be moved around at your beck and call like as if your staff are the seated customers' commanders or ring masters?!?!?!??? You're running a circus or military troop, are you?
2nd, the broth of the ramen, 2 words - SALT LICK. And likely that's how they sell their overpriced drinks there, cos you gonna chug down H2O worse than a horse. Good thing, I always bring along my water bottle with me.
3rd, menu says, and I quote WORD FOR WORD, "Complimentary Pickles and Eggs". Asked the wait staff for the pickles and eggs, and they said they only have pickles left. SO WHY DID NOT YOU NOTIFY YOUR CUSTOMERS ABOUT THAT UPFRONT INTEGROUSLY BEFORE ANY FOOD ORDER IS MADE?!?!?!?? Please note that customers do those on consideration of many factors before deciding to down at your establishment.
So essentially, this place is overseen by A BUNCH OF LAIRS and CONDESCENDING VICES then, since what you print on your menu IS A SHAM/SCAM, and treat customers...
Read moreWas with a colleague for lunch here because our original choice for lunch had a long queue. The ramen was meh at best. The char siew was thin and tasteless. I had one and left the other untouched.
What was truly shocking is the female server who was at the cashier to process our payment. We took a bit longer as we were using Google Pay so we apologized a few times. No expression from the server. She had a mask on but she probably had a scowl on. We told the customer behind us to go ahead first as we were holding up the queue. When we got our payment through, we apologized again very politely and said thank you. She yanked the receipt out of the machine and slammed it on the table, like we just ate a free meal. I slightly regret not telling her off for being so rude.
In general, service standards are low in Singapore but this was truly a new low. It was our first and last time ever stepping into this place as the encounter ruined our lunch. Please avoid at all cost. The ramen is nothing to shout about but coupled with rude service, please spend your...
