I hardly give 1 star reviews but this place deserves zero — if there was such a rating. Mediocre food with poor service and presentation. We ordered fish head noodle soup, hotplate beancurd, ngoh hiang, gong bao frog and curry fish head. The fish head noodle soup was tasteless unlike what was shown on the menu. The hotplate beancurd had the worst presentation by far! The curry fish head and ngoh hiang weren't too bad. Service was horrible because I brought my grandma, but I think they just weren't welcoming or lacked situational awareness that they couldn't bother opening the doors for me to wheel her in. The waiter was also engrossed in his mobile phone game instead of giving food recommendations, and just left us halfway to "let us sort out our thoughts". With such lackadaisical attitudes and lackluster food, I won't recommend anyone to patronize this place even if you're staying at the nearby housing blocks.

Went during weekday lunch time, not too crowded. Iced barley is just nice, not too overly thick and sweet like some places and refreshing ! Ordered two cups because the food was quite salty/ think due to a lot of msg inside. But the taste of the food (at least the dishes we ordered) was very flavourful and server was fast to serve us our dishes and sauces although it is quite hard to get his attention now and then. We ordered small portion of garlic kailan, sambal fried rice, prawn paste chicken and salad you tiao-highly recommend the salad you tiao, it is stuffed with a kind of fish paste and deep fried and served with salad sauce. Altogether we paid about 37.40 for all the four dishes for two people which we were very full at the end. I would say was quite worth it for the price point. Overall this is my friends go to when she is back from overseas and a place her family also frequents.

Ate halfway then realised forgot to take photo. Overall it was tasty and portions are quite generous but slightly expensive for a restaurant like that. Fried rice - for 1 pax and 4.80 the portion was huge that it can feed two pax. However, i have had better tasty fried rice before Cereal prawn - I think one of the best dish of the 4 dishes I ordered. Expensive but prawns were HUGE and fresh! I couldn't eat the tail part even though it was deep fried. They didn't really deep fry it properly. Not sure if it's like that but I appreciate if I can eat everything when it's deep fried. Cereal was sweet and tasty Yam ring - I liked it as well! Scallop and broccoli - disappointing scallops. Tasted rubbery and a lot of ginger. Broccoli was ok. It's nice and probably I will come back for prawns if I crave. Didn't manage to try the crabs, will see how
