If you're looking for an authentic and delicious dining experience in Singapore, look no further than Zam Zam Restaurant. Despite my initial skepticism that this place was just a tourist trap, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the overall dining experience.

The standout dish for me was the beef Briyani, which was cooked to perfection with just the right blend of spices. It was absolutely delicious and left me wanting more. I would highly recommend this dish to anyone visiting this restaurant.

While the food was undeniably amazing, I do have to mention that the cashier at the restaurant was not very friendly. This is something to keep in mind if you are looking for a more personal touch. However, the service from the other staff was just okay, not amazing but not bad either.

Despite this, the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with a great mix of locals and tourists enjoying the food and the company. The staff were attentive and helpful, making sure that everyone had everything they needed for an enjoyable dining experience.

Overall, I would highly recommend Zam Zam Restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious dining experience in Singapore. Don't let any preconceived notions of it being a tourist trap deter you - the food is amazing and the atmosphere is welcoming. Just be aware that the cashier may not be the friendliest, but that's a small price to pay for the incredible food at...

This place the wait staff are rude. When we came in, there is no seat available on the ground floor, the only seat available is the first table opposite the cashier. We are not able to go to second floor as mum conditions forbids her from climbing stairs. They saw us sitting, none of the wait staff gave us menu. They ignored us. We look thru the menu on the walls.10 mins later, when we are ready to place an order, we were told without apologizing, to shift to the table inside. And once we shift than they will take our orders, according to the wait staff. As that table that we seat is not for dine in! If you dont want your customer to seat, place a reserved sign or put something to prevent the table to be occupied!! We ordered the deer Murtabak and fish briyani. Nothing fantastic about the briyani. It is tasteless and blunt. The neighbourhood briyani taste better. Serangoon market their briyani is berter and cheaper. The deer murtabak? Well it was a ripped off. As it wasn’t a deer meat. It was a mutton meat. The filling doesn’t worth $12. This is the first and the last, I would step in to this place. It is better to have your murtabak or briyani at those neighbourhood shop or even at serangoon or other places. Pls avoid coming here. Not worth the money to spend. But if you still want to come by all means as it is up to individual preference. As for me it will...

My friends and I were exploring the area and passed by this restaurant. Since we are so hungry and i knew they served rice we decided to dine in. We ordered 3 fried chicken, 2 rice, 1 chicken liver, 2 boiled eggs, 1 prawns ( serving was too small, we got only 2 prawns), 1 kangkong and surprisingly we got to pay $40. After we ate, I looked the person who assisted us and asked how much each. He responded rudely pointing to our food that that that is 10$. I am confused since we got 3$ and 2$ price, and before we ordered the food we asked first so we know how much we pay for. So i asked another server and he told us the price. He saw us, and changed the pricing and told us okay pay this now now now, right and there we pull out our wallet and pay cash in our table. We notified him, we asked you from the very begginning if it’s okay to pay card and you said yes. And suddenly card is not allowed onlh cash. I hope managers/ owners hold behavioral lessons for employees, by teaching and fostering positive behaviors like teamwork, communication, accountability and respect.

In the Philippines, we never treated you like this. We respect your nationality and culture.

Moral Lesson: We shouldn’t be taken advantage just because we are tourist. It cost...

The restaurant was bustling with activity. Shop keepers busily wove in between the flow of patrons gliding in and out of the establishment seemingly randomly to take a seat or to grab a quick take away item. However, there seemed to be order to this chaos as the shop keepers were pointing patrons to where they needed to go. Having no idea of how the system worked, I let another single patron go ahead of me so I could mimick his actions. We ended up being seated together face to face on a recently open table on the sidewalk, in between the flow of pedestrians and the bustling traffic. He placed his order in a language I didn't understand. I pointed at a picture of the murtabak and thankfully there were no follow-up questions apart from "drink?" - to which I simply requested for water. We sat there waiting for our food without any conversation; probably because we both knew that we didn't speak a common language. However, it wasn't unpleasant at all. Somehow, sitting there with a total stranger in silence, in between the nonstop flow of people and noisy traffic, with the Sultan Mosque behind me and the first drops of an incoming monsoon hitting the back of my neck, I felt at home.
