Review: A Delightful Haven for Foodies and Their Furry Friends

If you’re on the lookout for a dog-friendly cafe that serves top-notch food and a welcoming ambiance, this hidden gem ticks all the boxes! Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, this cafe offers not just a feast for your taste buds but also a warm embrace for your furry companion.

Let’s talk about the ribeye steak—a culinary masterpiece! I ordered mine medium, and it was cooked to absolute perfection. Juicy, flavorful, and tender, every bite was a delight. The sear on the outside locked in the rich flavors, making it one of the best steaks I’ve had in a cafe setting. Paired with buttery garlic mashed potatoes and grilled veggies, the dish was a standout.

Now, onto the mac and cheese—comfort food at its finest. Creamy, gooey, and rich, this dish boasts the perfect blend of cheeses, making every bite indulgent. It’s the kind of mac and cheese that feels like a warm hug on a plate.

For drinks, the sea salt latte deserves a standing ovation. The subtle saltiness perfectly complements the velvety sweetness of the coffee, creating a unique and satisfying balance. It’s a must-try for coffee lovers who enjoy a twist to their usual brew.

The cherry on top? This cafe is incredibly dog-friendly. They even have a special menu for your furry friend. Whether it’s a pup-friendly meatloaf or a simple water bowl, they ensure your dog feels just as pampered as you.

This cafe is a shining example of how good food, great coffee, and a love for pets can come together to create an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you’re a steak enthusiast, a mac-and-cheese lover, or a dog parent, this place is a must-visit. Five stars...

Pros: Extremely Pet-Friendly: Stray Cafe is a paradise for pet lovers, especially those with furry friends. The cafe welcomes pets warmly, making it a great spot for pet owners to relax and enjoy their time. Enclosed Area for Pets: The enclosed area is a fantastic feature, allowing pets to roam freely while their owners dine. This setup ensures both pets and owners can have a good time without worries. Furry Friends Galore: The presence of many furry friends adds to the charm of the cafe, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for animal lovers.

Cons: Inconsistent Staff Attitude: The service experience can be hit or miss. While some staff members are friendly and welcoming, others may not be as pleasant, which can affect the overall experience. Average Food Quality: The food is described as just "OK." It doesn't stand out or leave a lasting impression, which might be disappointing for those expecting a memorable culinary experience. High Prices: The cafe is on the expensive side, which might not justify the average food quality and inconsistent service.

Conclusion: Stray Cafe is a great spot for pet owners looking for a place to hang out with their furry companions. However, the inconsistent staff attitude, average food, and high prices might deter some visitors. If you're primarily there for the pet-friendly environment, it's worth a visit, but don't set your expectations too high for the...

After hearing tons of pawsitive reviews online, we finally decided to pay this latest pet cafe in town a visit. As its name suggests, Stray Cafe incorporates the theme of stray dogs into their cafe's design and menu.

They have an eye-catching metal cage design that we assumed to reflect the life of shelter dogs and also to allow your skittish dogs to still roam around the cafe without having to be terrorised by other dogs.

While the concept of the cafe is interesting, they also have excellent food quality to back it up. We ordered the Tampo Chicken and Pumpkin Risotto, along with the Salted Cream Coffee and Chocolate Lava Cake, all which tasted delicious. The menu is quite extensive as well, ranging from Asian to Western-inspired cuisine. Pet food is also available too, so your doggos can eat with you.

Best of all, the cost here doesn't break your wallet. Aside from having set lunches available, you can get a main from $15 to $30, and our entire meal was only around $70 with one set lunch, one main, one drink, one dessert and one dog treat.

Located at Kensington Mall, which is also pet-friendly, I highly recommend visiting and supporting the cafe, both for the work that they're doing and also for the delicious...
