I had a very disappointing experience at this outlet. Shortly after placing an extra order through the appāliterally within secondsāI realized the mistake and approached the manager to see if the order could be amended or canceled. He told me it couldnāt be done on their end, but that I might be able to do it through the app.
After searching the app thoroughly and finding no option to cancel or amend the order, I asked the manager for further assistance. Instead of helping, he quickly went into the kitchen and ignored my request. The staff proceeded to prepare the order, despite me clearly stating I wanted to cancel it.
What was even more frustrating was being told that if I canceled, the staffs would have to pay for the food themselvesāthis sounded like an excuse to avoid dealing with the issue. I requested to speak with the manager again, but was told he was āinside cooking.ā After waiting around 5 minutes with no response, I gave up. It was clear he was avoiding the situation entirely.
In the end, I took the extra food home, but it went to waste as we were too full to finish it.
This experience showed a lack of customer service, accountability, and professionalism from both the staff and manager. I hope Texas Chicken can look into this matter and provide better training for their team on handling customer issues with more responsibility...

Unfortunately, both visits were ruined by the same staff member, ELLEN (a manager of Philippine nationality). Her attitude was completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on the brand.
Ellen was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional in handling customers. She displayed no courtesy or respect, and her tone and body language made it clear that she had no interest in providing good service. Instead of resolving issues or assisting customers, she behaved in a way that was hostile, arrogant, and condescending. This level of behavior is a disgrace to any professional working in customer service, let alone a manager who should set an example.
Texas Chicken is an internationally recognized brand, and such behavior tarnishes its reputation. A manager should embody professionalism and customer service excellence, but Ellen does the opposite. I strongly urge the management to take action whether itās retraining, demotion, or disciplinary measures to ensure that no other customer experiences this level of disrespect.
If this is the standard Texas Chicken is willing to accept, then it raises serious concerns about how the brand values its customers. I hope the management will take this complaint seriously and uphold better...

The cashier (a malay lady, sadly didn't catch her name) told us that we could order using the self service kiosk and PAY with cash. We had to order again through her and her attitude was awful. She did not ask us for our choice of drinks and just put down 2 Pepsis for my meal. I don't exactly like Pepsi but I didn't mind. She acted as if she was on a bad mood the entire time she was taking our order like what did we do wrong? We're just 2 hungry people trying to place our order???
We had the 5 piece chilli crunch chicken combo. I'm not sure if we were able to change our drinks from Pepsi but regardless, it is not related to the review. I'm reviewing mainly because of her attitude and the paragraph below.
We took our meal and ate it within seconds as we were very hungry. My chicken was cold(room temp) and out of the 5 pieces, only 1 was hot. The chicken was on a heated rack and being cold meant that it was left out for really long.
From what I saw that day, there wasn't any customers but there were quite a few delivery orders that day due to the covid 19 restrictions. I think this reflects very poorly on Texas Chicken's brand and I don't think I will ever be coming to this outlet again, not unless the quality of the food changes as this isn't the first time I had cold chicken from the Century...
