I had an amazing time at The Pineapple Room! The atmosphere is cosy and stylish, with a great mix of modern and vintages touches. The cocktail menu is super creative, with options for guests with different palates - from refreshing to bitter cocktails. If you have no idea which to order, you can alway let the bartenders, Azlam and Franz know your cocktails preference and let them do the magic for you!

The icing on the cake was definitely Azlam and Franz. You can tell their passion in crafting cocktails and they would even take the time to explain the ingredients and the inspiration behind the drinks. It’s always a nice touch when the staff go the extra mile to make you feel like a part of the experience.

The vibe was perfect for a night out with friends, but it would also be great for a date night. The staffs were all attentive and made us feel right at home. There are also pool table and foosball table for you to enjoy a game or two with your friends!

Newly opened at Capella Singapore. This bar is intimate and has a classic contemporary style about it. The pineapple represents a few things but what sticks out to me is the spirit of hospitality as well as warmth and friendliness. This bar exudes this from their staff, whether recommending a drink or just acknowledging you by name. There is normal seating as well as bar seating. The menu is extensive and has some great cocktails on it. We served a refreshing melon tea first. We also had some bar snack of olives and nuts to go with our drinks. I had the Compass Rose. It had gin, lemon, heritage spices, green grapes, and rose water. I prefer my cocktails sweet and this one hit the spot. A great blend and with a large ice cube (stamped with bar logo which is a lovely touch) and a single rose petal. Elegant and refined is how I would describe this cocktail.

Visited The Pineapple Room at Capella Singapore after reading about it in Singapore Business Times, and it definitely lived up to the hype. My wife, her siblings, and their partners—who are back in town for the holidays—joined me for the evening, and we all had a great time.

Azlan, the bartender, made sure we were well taken care of, and his attention to detail made the experience even better. I had the Butterscotch Old Fashioned, which was incredible—smooth, balanced, and just the right amount of indulgent. Everyone else loved their cocktails too; it’s clear that a lot of thought goes into crafting the drinks here.
