The Thunder Tea rice is $5.50, good portion size, the herbal tea is gao (strong) enough, but also not overwhelming. The aunty helper is very friendly and chatty. She said they took over the stall about a year ago, and the previous owner was the one who shifted from Ang Mo Kio. They open fairly early (around 6am) and will close after lunch hour, or when the food is sold out. There are also specials on different days - the aunty cheerfully "reminded" us to come back on Tuesdays and try the laksa.
