Madras Masala — Restaurant in Banská Bystrica

We went for dinner today!! WOW. We are from London but we have lived in Slovakia for 11 years. Indian food was our most favourite restaurant choice. It was the only regret when we came here that there were no Indian restaurants within our reach. I cannot recommend Madras Masala more highly. The food was excellent and the service was just right. Try several different dishes and you will see how the different flavours compliment each other. I am sure, if you ask, the waiter who is serving you, will recommend dishes for you to try. In a city like Banksa Bystrica, I was not sure to find an Indian restaurant. Having come such a long distance and the taste buds longing for Indian food, finding Madras Masala felt like water in Desert. But much to my surprise, the food was excellent and better than top Indian restaurants in our city. Everything we tried over our short stay was the best we had in a long time. During the visits, we could smell the spices from a good distance across the road. The staff were very courteous and very nice with children. Za mna troska sklamanie ked to porovnam s inymi restauraciami podobneho zamerania. Predjedla co sme mali bohuzial velmi zle. Kuraci/Telaci Seekh Kebab 1/5 neskutocne suche maso hlavne to kuracie a chutovo nevyrazne. Kuracie Momos 1/5 opat nevyrazne maso a cele momos take stvrdnute okraje. Vsetky jedla dost studene a prislo mi to ako keby boli uz dlhsie hotove pripadne ohrievane. Matovy dip dost nevyrazny cize ich nezachranil. Mali sme aj Paneer Malai Tikka to nebolo zle, konecne teple lebo prisiel na tacke ktora bola vrena a teda to krasne sycalo 4/5. Hlavne jedla - Chicken Korma opat tam chutovo nieco chybalo 3/5, Chicken Tikka Masala za mna sklamanie co sa chuti tyka strasne bolo citit paradajkovy pretlak co som popravde nikdy predtym v inej restauracii nezazil 2/5. Vacsinou prevladaju indicke koreniny a pod. Posledne hlavne jedlo sme mali jedno jahnacie kari kto nas prekvapilo len sme mali zmiesane pocity :D Krasne vonalo ale ked sme ochutnali to bol doslova hovadzi madarsky gulas :D Opat bolo citit silno pretlak, sladku papriku. Ak by som hodnotil jedlo ze to mal byt madarsky gulas dam 5/5 ale takto 2/5. S Indiou to nemalo nic spolocne. V jedlach mi proste chybala chut tych spravnych korenin, ani v jednom jedle som necitil zazvor. Naany boli v pohode 4/5. Na zaver sladka bodka Gulab Jamun. Chutovo v pohode ale mini porcia dve gulicky v sirupe za 4,5e aj napriek tomu 5/5. Odporucam si prerobit menu na stranke kedze je neaktualne co sa tyka ponuky a cien, zaroven obrazky zavadzaju ukazuju casto vacsie porcie ako v skutocnosti su - proste vidno ze to nie su fotky ich jedal. Posledna vec co ma prekvapila ze capuju miestne pivo Perla to som este nikde v BB nevidel (teda tam kde zvyknem chodit ) Celkovo...
