Chernomorka — Restaurant in Bratislava

Visited this restaurant twice in the last few days as I was super curious about this new place in my neighborhood - once for regular lunch and once for birthday lunch. Service - super attentive and friendly.....free desert with a firework candle for my brother's birthday was such a nice surprise 🎉. Atmosphere - decorations match the theme so well. Seafood display and barrels with mussels are cool. Food - everything was pretty good. I absolutely loved the shrimp and blue cheese risotto!!!!!! All the other meals were super yummy too. And we tried many!!! Deserts - let me tell you - the 10 euro for a lemon cheesecake and 8 for honey cake is a lot but this is not your average cheap tasting cheesecake/honey cake. They tasted amazing and must be made from good quality ingredients. Definitely go try this place out. You will end up feeling like you're on a summer vacation by the sea. I really appreciate the staff but the food was horrible. I am very picky so maybe it might be me but there were 7 of us and none of us were amazed or truly enjoyed our food. The combinations of flavors were extremely unbalanced, did not complement each other, portions with some meals were extremely small with others extremely big. Nothing consistent. For how much money they charge.... No. Out of 3 dishes that I have ordered one I couldn't eat at all because the favours were atrocious, the main dish was extremely small and greatly missed something on the side. Even when I ordered extra side it was just so little. No way a grown adult would be satisfied. And the ice cream as desert was one TINY scoop that took them 10 minutes to bring to our table.
