Reštaurácia Stodola — Restaurant in Poprad

We ordered a 0,8 liter mineral water (1,80€) and the waiter brought a 0,33 liter water (1,20 €) and when we mentioned and asked what we ordered, the waiter said there was no such a drink on the list and he offered an other 0,33 l bottle of water with same list price, making the total 2,40 for 0,66 liter. We said there is, we did not make it up, he asked to show it on the list and rudely asked that the 0,40 € is so important for us. When we showed the drink on the list, he brought us the big bottle of water, which we originally ordered, but of course it was warm. After this he was just talking about us to his colleagues in slovak (even if we do not speak the language we could feel it). We had to ask for the bill three times (from 2 other waiters also) and when we asked from him, he just rolled the eyes at us! Our waitress was very rude, we place our order and she left without taking our drink order, so we stop her and asked if we order the drinks with her or at the bar, she answer very annoyed yes and to tell her quick what we want, we asked for a few drinks + a nonalcoholic beer for our driver, we did asked the beer to be room temperature if possible and she just say how she is supose to bring it room temperature if is on tap ( she could just specify that the beer they have is on tap ), at the end she did bring a fruit Radler instead of nonalcoholic beer without asking us anything, we ordered food without bacon and asked her specifically if it will be possible and she confirmed that yes its possible, yet the food arrived with bacon in it and when i asked why, she just said she doesnt control kitchen, no apology, no...

Have been there during our family trip through Slovakia in july 2017. The first idea was to stop in a shopping center because there is easy to find fast food places. We traveled with kids (2,5, 8) and usually in restaurants there it is a problem what the kids will eat.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a local restaurant with such an original interior design. They had a menu in English so even with some minor language adaptations we were able to order what we wanted to. The kids eat everything and even said that the chicken soup id like grand ma'.
