Bistro Gallo — Restaurant in Trnava

Great little restaurant near the train station in Trnava!

My wife and I took the train to Trnava from Bratislava and before we returned walked here for a pizza. The pizza was one of the best I have had outside Italy. The meat and sauce was very good, but the crust was perfect!

The woman waiting on us was also very good as we don't speak Slovak, but we all worked things out!

A simple pizza here was one of the most memorable meals I ate while in Europe over 16 days! It really is a great little find and I highly recommend eating...

The pizza looks fine and i suppose they are trying to mimic a Napoli style Italian pizza. But the ingredients are mid-level for italians and the dough is too soft and chewingum-like. Pizza dough need to sit for 48 hours before being cooked, or the pizza will keep lieven in your stomach. Not their fault, just no good pizza...

Probably the best Neapolitan pizza in town. We also had the duck with mashed potatoes and orange sauce. Great food and fair prices. We’ll definetely come back to try some of the pasta options. One thing to improve would be the service, the waitress could be communicative, smile more and generally look more excited...
