SUMO restaurant — Restaurant in Trnava

Used to be one of mine favorite restaurants but recently i’ve been very dissapointed. For the first time i ordered all you can eat while dining in, after an hour my orded still haven’t came yet so i told the waiters about it. It was a busy night but that doesn’t justify anything, waiters were beign quite rude to me so i wasn’t very nice either after a another three hours not even half of what i ordered came to me, and what came to me were only small appetizers. Servers told me they didn’t have time for me but people around me who also had all you can eat service not only they came 2 hours after me but also were getting their orders in short time and all perfectly fine. The waiters were extremely rude to me even while i was paying for food i didn’t get. They were glaring at me and didn’t apoligised one bit. If someone is applying for a job of a waiter in one of the most favorite restaurants in town they should act upmost professional. I don’t think they understand that as a waiter or working in the food industry in general you are here to please the eater it’s not another way around. If the service wasn’t so terrible i could have acually enjoyed this dinner since the food is always delicious thanks to the chef. But unfortunately not only this so called all you can eat dinner cost me 20€ for nothing but i also left hungry and...

Latka, ktorú si nastavila samotná reštaurácia pri mojej prvej návšteve je veľmi vysoko - čo mňa osobne veľmi milo prekvapilo a úprimne potešilo. Milé a radostné prekvapenia sú vždy vítané - to nebude vari nik rozporovať. Prostredie s dychom moderného dizajnu či doby. A obsluha? Nevtieravá, no spontánne milá i slušná aj taktne úslužná adekvátnou mierou - proste na pochvalu. A napokon to hlavné - jedlo???👌 Hovädzie, kuracie, či wok zelenina - tri jedlá správne marinované, presne správna konzistencia i chuť... Ryža ako to správne pozadie - "chuťové klišé", čo je takrečeno "bez zvuku - či bez chuti" - aby s ňou vynikla chuť mäsa, chuť čínskych húb - tak silno boostrovaná správnym marinovaním i exaktne presne trvajúcou tepelnou úpravou. Rovnako tak i cukina, zelenina, chuť omáčky...a aby som nezabudol i znamenitej ostrokyslej polievky. Nie, necítim sa byť úplne erudovaným znalcom čínskej kuchyne - no dobré jedlo, správne marinované, ideálne tepelné upravené a výborne dochutené rozpoznám... A tak so všetkou vážnosťou konštatujem a hodnotím - že je tu znamenitá kuchyňa s úrovňou. Teda nie IBA úroveň - "dobre nasýti". Ale už v oblasti - vychutnám si chute a vône a pochutím si na dobrom jedle. Aj že sa sem URČITE RÁD ešte vrátim... Už teraz sa teším a som i budem nedočkavým na ďalšie zážitky... A tiež samozrejme dúfam, že nestratíte zápal i zanietenosť...pre kvalitu a dobré jedlo. Ďakujem a dovidenia nabudúce... A celkom úprimne - veľmi mi u...

Today, sunday at 7th May 2023 I visited second time this wonderful place. I loved perfectly prepared sushi and maki dish, good places for sitting, amazing table decorations, handfull and nice service, in general I was very satisfied and I had amazing gastronomical experience. I recommend this restaurant to all food lovers and for everybody, who love to enjoying high class cultural gastronomy.
