Restaurant Viharnik — Restaurant in Bohinj

Ate here for 3 days as we were at Vogel to ski for those few days. Overall food was pretty good, the meat stew I had on the first day was a bit too salty for my liking and I usually love salty food. Service was pretty decent. We only had drinks on the 2nd day and service was exceptionally bad. It was hard to get their attention so I walked to the bar area to make things easier for them so that they could print the receipt then and there and I could pay upfront. Waited for 10 minutes while the staff walked past me and clearly ignored me. I understand if they were busy was I was waiting at the bar area, I could be a customer who would like to buy another drink. When I finally got the attention of a brunette lady, she gave me a cold look and said 'I didn't serve you' and walked away. It was pretty off-putting. I didn't see her the rest of the week and the other staff who served us on the next day were friendly enough to make me want to go back to the restaurant if I ever skied at Vogel again. Tout simplement le pire burger que j'aie jamais mangé. C'est bien simple, après trois bouchées, j'ai retiré le steak (si on peut seulement appeler ça comme ça...) et n'ai conservé que le pain avec un bout de tomate sans goût et une feuille de salade en sachet. Le fromage, étonnamment, était correct, ainsi que le pain lui-même. Mais la viande... Je ne m'en remets pas. Je pense que même mon chien n'y aurait pas touché. Je trouve scandaleux qu'on ose servir ça, cet agglomérat de mie de pain et de chutes de viande à la flotte, tout juste décongelé. J'aurais dû me méfier du fait que la serveuse ne nous demande pas quelle cuisson nous voulions pour le burger, mais je n'aurais pas imaginé un tel manque de respect une seconde, surtout étant donné le prix du dit burger qui se prend pour un burger de brasserie parisienne !! Rien à dire sur les frites, clairement pas maison mais correctes. Concernant le service, nous y étions en septembre donc pas en pleine saison estivale mais il y avait du monde, surtout en terrasse, et le staff semblait débordé. On a mis presque 30 minutes à venir prendre notre commande, sachant que nous nous sommes levés 2 fois pour faire savoir que nous attendions et avons chaque fois été accueillis de façon plutôt désagréable. La serveuse venue prendre la commande n'était pas plus agréable que son collègue qui fait les cafés au bar. An amazing place overlooking the resort, good for refreshing before or after your trip. Nice kinds of beers, and their Apple Strudel was one of a kind specially by adding whipped cream to it! We had lunch there and ordered their famous homemade burger along with side salad.
