Gostišče "Vančar", Komac Danijela s.p. — Restaurant in Bovec

The food was OK, when it finally arrived. Not amazing, but ok. We had booked and arrived on time. There were 6 of us. We ordered 2 pizzas, 1 grilled meat and 1 fish main dish, 1 large salad. We were served after everyone else around us (even people that arrived later), we had to remind them after we had been sitting at the table for 1h 15 min. And one of the waiters tried to tell me it was out fault for what we ordered (the fish... but they did not tell us at the point of order that this would delay the order) and was quite rude about it. I get it... it was relatively busy and it's hard work... but to wait for food for 1 hr and only get it after reminding them is not...

Service was slow and forgetful, but I can understand it in very hot weather. The food was so-so, extremely salty. Atmosphere was nice, but outside terrace full of screaming kids - they have a really nice playground. Not many choices around, so you take what is available. Just nothing fancy, slightly below average food....

Really great place 😃👌🏽 Would highly recommend it :) We stopped nearby for camping so we were looking for cheap but nice food and cozy place to chill for a bit. Simon (I am guessing the name of the guy) was really cool. The meal was a good size and really great 😃 And it was really cheap too :)
