Nestled in the jaw-dropping valley of Trenta, where emerald rivers carve their way through the Julian Alps and every breath feels like it should be bottled and sold as “pure nature,” stands Trenta Spageterija & Pizzerija. The view? Nothing short of cinematic. You could sit here for hours watching the sun paint the mountain peaks in gold, and for a moment, you’d believe this is paradise.

And then the food arrives.

It’s… fine. Modest portions, modest taste, modest ambition – the kind of meal that doesn’t offend but doesn’t inspire, and somehow still manages to cost as much as dinner in Luxembourg. One can almost hear the echo of your wallet sighing in the background.

The service is another story – a slow ballet of apathy. The waiters drift between tables with the glazed expressions of people who have either achieved enlightenment or simply stopped caring. Need a menu? Patience. Need the bill? You’d better be fluent in telepathy.

So, why come here? For that view. For the moment you lean back in your chair, coffee in hand, and watch the valley stretch into forever. Just don’t expect the kitchen or the service to match...

Totally worth the stop! We walked by this place after an 8-hour hike. We were starving and checked out the menu and reviews on maps. There were a few negative ones that made us a bit hesitant but our stomachs couldn't handle any longer so we decided to grab stop and eat here. The service was really good and the food too, contrary so what some people have reviewed recently. A gentleman and a young lady served our table with a smile and brought us the pizza, salad and beers. Good portions, good taste and good prices! There are not many restaurant options in Trenta anyway, but this being one of the only ones (if not the only one?) doesn't make it "a trap"....

The view and surroundings are very nice, service is also fine. But the food was just not good. Pizza was not available at the time, so we’ve had vegetarian burgers full of oil and chicken breasts, probably everything out of freezer. Two of us had stomach issues for two days… the quality was not okay for the price. I do not want to be mean. It is just a shame that in the middle of a beautiful mountains they make a pizzeria&spaghetteria (with only few variants) and other creations with shrimps and fishes from a far Atlantic instead of a traditional quality cuisine with local wares. The place is...

FINGER WEG!!! WOLD BADEST PIZZA!!! Man konnte Sellerie, Karotten & Lauch darauf finden. Gerade so ok.
