Jack & Joe BBQ & Pizza — Restaurant in Maribor

This new Jack & Joe is great, the place is great and it's near the river Drava like the old one but in a better location in my opinion. It's right next to Teta Frida where you can get excellent chocolate cakes, so after eating excellent meat you can get equally excellent deserts.

OK so the food is above average, you have a variety of burgers, steaks, authentic wagyu beef and in this new place even Pizza. The food is really good, even the finger food is great. If you're fan of american style cooking it's an excellent choice.

The ambiance is better than the original place. The only slight problem might be getting a parking space, as it's part of a sports park so even during the week all the parking is quite full so you're forced to park on the side of the road and hope no one damages your car. That being said if you're on a bike this is a non problem.

Ah also reservations are recommend as the place is super popular and waiting times are to be expected if you have no reservation on a weekend and even during lunch time on week...

The thing I appreciate the most is the Bartender professionalism and kindness.

Food is proper. I tried the Hugo steak medium - and enjoyed it very much. 7,9/10 that is a high grade.

I also tried the pizza and must say it is superb. 8,2/10

The knives could be sharper guys :)

Also the home made ice tea (without the sweetener) was delicious.

Dessert was good. The twix chimichangas were crispy delicious. Tiramisu was not exactly of the ordinary kind (fluffy, light) but was still very tasty. The decoration is excellent 👌

I was not impressed with the Coffee. But then again, it is not a coffee spot. Perhaps a combo for coffee after in " teta Frida" or "Draš center" nearby that has the extra sun in the evening could round it up well.

The food is out of this world. Sure it is definetly a bit more expensive than your local kebab shop but every cent you spend there is a cent well spent. The food is top notch and so is the service. The staff are kind, they know what they serve and are ready to cater to every guests personal need when it comes to food and drink. The pizzas are perfectly made and the toppings create a true harmony. I ate the file mignon steak and i eat carnivore so the staff cutomised my dish so it would be suitable for me. And let me tell you what.
