Absolutely gross. Spaghetti with “tomato” is just tomato-water with absolutely cheap pasta. Salad for 12€ is just vegetables without any dressing, thrown in the bowl. I do not recommend. We tried to communicate our opinion with the waitter (who was very professional and carying), but his boss said that the food is OK and that we have to pay for this disgusting food. However, I understand that the BOSS of this tourist trap restaurant is just not giving a F. about his costumers as tourist are just one-time commers, so no worries to take proper care of them.

We went for lunch. The place has a great view and the location is great since it is near the castle. We ordered some dishes of the meat menu and they were great. Sides are not included in the dish so you have to order them additionally. Service was good, but when we asked the waitress what kind of meat is included in each dish I think she got confused. I ordered skewered meat thinking I was getting chicken but it ended up being pork. It was fine for me since I don’t have dietary restrictions but it would have been a problem for other people.

Aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen haben wir auf dem Weg nach Kroatien einen Abstecher bei der Gostilna Pozar gemacht - leider war dies den zeitlichen Aufwand nicht wert Die Burg nebenan ist absolut faszinierend - aber wenn man aufgrund schlechten Wetters drinnen im Lokal sitzen muss, bekommt man nur eine Einrichtung geboten, welche an eine sozialistische Kantine der 70er Jahre erinnert (und genau aus der Zeit stammt). Die Sanitäranlagen sind ebenfalls unzufriedenstellend, weder am Damen- noch am Herren-WC war Klopapier vorhanden. Nun zum Essen: ich habe Truthahnschnitzel mit Pilzen bestellt, geschmacklich gut, allerdings wurde mir als Beilage (welche man übrigens extra zahlt) nur Kartoffelpüree serviert, obwohl ich Bratkartoffeln bestellt habe, auf Anfrage dies umzutauschen, wurde behauptet, das hätten wir bestellt und es gäbe ohnehin nichts anderes Weiters bestellten wir ein Pfeffersteak um stolze 20€, welches mit einem Steak nichts zu tun hatte und wie schlecht gemachter Gulasch schmeckte Als Dessert, in der Hoffnung zumindest eine gute Nachspeise zu bekommen, bestellten wir die slawische Spezialität Gibanica (eine Art Strudel) - diese wurde zwar warm serviert, war allerdings ohne Geschmack und hatte nichts mit meinem Lieblingsdessert gemein, erinnerte eher an Zemlovka (Scheiterhaufen). Alles in allem, für slowenische Verhältnisse stolze Preise, aber Essen und Ambiente, welches diesen absolut nicht gerecht wird Nicht empfehlenswert! Lieber in der nahegelegenen Stadt Postojna (Adelsberg) eines der zahlreichen anderen Lokale ausprobieren!

What went well: the waitress arrived quickly and asked us about drinks. She quickly served the drinks.

What was wrong: if you choose the last 2 tables on the balcony (immediately left from stairs) then the windows belong to the kitchen and are noisy and smelly. There is a mineral water in glass bottle we used to buy in Slovenia's restaurants and it's 1 liter, mostly for €2-3. In this place it was €8. The Bolognese spaghetti was edible but not good. The Cordon Bleu was a bit raw and completely without any taste. After we got the food we were completely forgotten. Then I wanted to pay our meal. I saw a waitress with a mobile paying terminal but that's all, nobody came to us. After a while I went in and asked for the bill, they said ok, they'll reach me. Another 6-8 minutes and the waitress arrived. I showed my bank card and she said if I want to pay with the card then I can do it inside. O.o But there was a waitress with the terminal... Ok I went in but there was nobody. Another 3-4 mins and I was able to pay. it took about 15 minutes to settle the bill for these poor quality foods... I don't...
