Labrca PIZZA & GRILL — Restaurant in Tolmin

This place is simply put amazing. The food was good, the ambiance was awesome. The view of the surrounding were spectacular. The view from the terrace of this restaurant, one can idly look at the River while siping away their drink on a warm summer evening. The owner of the restaurant is a very friendly and welcoming man. We wanted to sit outside on the terrace and since the tables were all occupied, we waited for 20mins on the lounge area sipping away our drinks and chilling after a nice hike through entire day. We were actually quite happy to wait and chill outside as Covid-19 regulations are in place. The restaurant staff and owners are very thoughtful and mindful of this. Very friendly, polite, courteous and above all helpful. We ordered a starter of tortellini with porcine mushrooms and a cold cut and cheese palate for starters and grilled trout for main course. The Loska lager beer from the tap was very refreshing. It was wonderful experience. Amazingly fresh and tasty food, good mood, locally resourced products from the region around. This restaurant is a heaven for campers, rafters, hikers. The River nearby and the mountain nearby and very aptly located near the town of Tolmin. The other aspect of this restaurant was the wood work of this place. If you are in Tolmin area , either on the way to Bovec or on the way back , you need to stop in this place ! Food is fantastic as we enjoy the meals and the environment at this place near the river. This restaurant have a great variety of food and an impressive menu!!

The manager always takes the time to come to our table and make sure that all of our food was delicious . We all got to enjoy those great meals while we also enjoy sitting on the nice maintained terrace . Talk about the best of both worlds. 👍👍. Oh... and one more thing , Prices been fair !

So final words , food was delicious, Service is great , prices are good and if you wish to get all with nice atmosphere ... that’s your place in Tolmin !

Wo ist dieser wunderbare Familienort hin :(? Das neue Restaurantkonzept ist nicht mehr auf Familie mit Kindern ausgelegt, wir sind nachhaltig sehr enttäuscht. Seit über 4 Jahren kommen wir mehrmals im Jahr nach Slowenien und die Labrca war in den Wochen unser Lokal, um die Kinder auf dem schönen Spielplatz toben zu lassen und oben auf der Terrasse herrlich zu speisen (gern mittags und abends) und etwas zu entspannen. Gestern sind wir wieder in Slowenien angekommen und wir alle freuten uns schon sehr auf die Labrca. Was wir vorher nicht wussten, dass es wohl diesmal das letzte Mal sein wird, dass wir dort Essen gehen würden :(! Die Speisekarte wurde komplett überarbeitet, was an sich nicht verkehrt ist, und auf wenige Speisen reduziert. Toll ist, dass sie mehrsprachig aufgesetzt wurde. Jedoch wurden die Kindermenüs vollständig von der Karte gestrichen und die Preise wurden mehr als deutlich angehoben. ZBsp die Pizzen, welche recht gross waren und sind, kosten nun um die 15-16€. Eine Flasche Wasser kostet aktuell 4€!

Vergeblich suchten wir Hauptspeisen für unter 10€, welche auch von kleinen Kindern gegessen werden. Auch ich hatte Schwierigkeiten etwas zu finden was Lokal ist bzw mehr als nur eine lokale Zutat (meist Käse aus Tolmin) vorweist. Einheimische - wie sonst- haben wir ebenfalls vermisst. In einem gehobenen Restaurant wäre dies alles kein Problem. Die Labrca ist meiner Meinung nach von der Ausstattung und der Lage, mit dem Campingplatz und der Raftingstation bzw. Sportanbieter, her, eher ein super tolles, gemütliches Restaurant, auch mit Snackbarcharakter, als ein preismäßig höheres Restaurant. Was nicht beurteilt werden kann ist, ob auch am Personaleinsatz gespart wurde. Gestern war - evt. Auch Krankheitsbedingt- nur eine Servicekraft anwesend. Aufgrund von verschiedenen Gruppen (meist Paraglider) war die Labrca voll und die Servicekraft hatte dies kaum bewältigen können, wie auch. Ein Smalltalk war so überhaupt nicht möglich, was wir sonst auch gern immer gemacht haben. Fazit: es macht den Anschein, die Laufkundschaft zu "melken" und die Stammgäste - vor allem die Familien zu vergraulen. An einem so schönen Ort mit Spielplatz und Sportangeboten für uns unverständlich. Sehr, sehr schade!!!!!

Mein Wunsch wäre, dass der Inhaber das Konzept nochmal überdenkt und evt zurück zum alten kommt. Gern etwas angepasst, aber bitte wieder Familienfreundlich, die sehr gern mehrmals Essen...
