Review of Our Stay at Glamping Tinka, Tolmin

We stayed at the beautiful Glamping Tinka above the Tolmin Valley, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The location, high up in the mountains, offered breathtaking views of the valley, and the evening atmosphere, watching paragliders in the sunset, was an unforgettable experience.

The accommodation itself exceeded all our expectations. The high-quality cabin was equipped with excellent air conditioning and a charming terrace where we spent a lot of time. The bathroom and small kitchen were functional and equipped with all the necessities, making our stay really comfortable and hassle-free.

The accommodation was located in our host Franko's yard, which was like its own little paradise. The charming garden provided an authentic atmosphere and added a special touch to our lodging experience. Franko himself was an exceptional host – very helpful and pleasant. He gave us all the necessary information and spoiled us with local delicacies. The local wine and homemade brandy were particularly memorable.

One of the highlights of our trip was the evening we spent with Franko and his son. This warm and genuine experience made our stay even more special.

Staying at this little hut was a real delight. We were kinda trapped there during a thunderstorm which was beautiful to watch as it wandered over the hills and mountains in our view, so we tried the selfmade schnaps and ate a lot. After about two hours and a last shot on the house we descended back to our car through the National Park.

You should really order the frika. It was pretty much the best I had to eat during my whole trip...

🇮🇹IT: Bel posto dopo la fine delle Gole di Tolmin, che si può raggiungere con 15/20[Min] di camminata nel bosco o sulla strada, Abbiamo deciso di fare la prima parte sulla strada e la seconda sul sentiero che era meno ripido della prima parte. Abbiamo mangiato una Frika per due e uno strudel, bevendo una bottiglia d'acqua. La Frika è stata fatta al momento ed era molto deliziosa e lo strudel era buono, abbiamo pagato 27€ che è un prezzo molto basso per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Se avete bisogno di mangiare dopo la visita alle Gole di Tolmin e avete ancora un po' di energia, questo posto è molto consigliato.
